You should have gotten around 345 gold certificates for those 10 million. you should also have gotten around 14 vectron magnus' and around 4 rancor mounts. Assuming that you used smuggler chips of course and the feeling lucky buff. If you didn't, then you get no sympathy from me because buying the kingpin chips directly is just moronic. Now, granted, it is possible he did spend 10 millions and didn't get a single rancor. But then he is missing the point with this entire event. It's random. Oh and you could have bought a rancor off the GTN for 7 million instead (and unlocked it on all your characters to boot). The fact that you didn't get a rancor for 10 million is just your own fault. Oh and I don't believe you spent 10 million. Just due to the fact that you only have 60 certs left. You would have had to buy everything for sale several times over to just have 60 certs left. Sure, it's possible you won very few certs. But the laws of improbability also state that it is entirely possible that you'll one day open your washing machine and find all your launcry neatly folded up and ordered by colour and size. Anytime someone post anything about spending a lot of credits and no x prize you claim they are full it. You claim they should have received x number of prizes because x credits = x number of prizes. There are plenty of threads discussing the winnings and losings of this event and the only ones I have commented on are the outrageous ones. Like the one claiming he spent a million credits and only got one gold certificate. Or this one where he claims to have spent 10 million credits and only gotten around 115 gold certificates. Sure, they are both possible, but they are so statistically unlikely that I tend to not believe them. So could you please explain why you have created within yourself any expectation of winning anything at all? I did blow the machine, but that is because well... ive been clicking whole night, 400-500 smuggler tokens in a row. You know what you have to do to obtain one, yet here you are asking that BW change the rules because you have been unlucky. BOO HOO. No thanks. BW, please leave the rancor exactly as it is. (plus 23 kingpin chips bought with cartel certificates, which accounts for my higher-than-average numer of certs) 2 blown up machines. 1 vectron. 52 gold certificates (spent 45 of them) And 1 Rancor. Now, saying that you have "bought everything golden cert can buy" and still sitting on 60+ certs (with 10 here or there on others, pretty vague by the way) still means that you have had unbelievably bad luck when it comes to certs. 10 million should have given you at least 200+ certs. Sure, you can cite that it is random, but the law of averages means that if you spend that much money on something that has a 5% chance of giving you a prize (gold cert) then you should be averaging out by now. Something still doesn't smell right with your story here. Either you are underplaying the number of certs you got (for whatever reason) or you are overplaying the amount of money you spent. I actually believe that blowing up a machine has a lower chance than obtaining a Rancor. It is, but it also applies to the smuggler machines. So he has had that 0,02% chance on ALL the rolls he's done, not just the kingpin machines. And if he bought 10 million worth of chips, that's 15-20 thousand times he's rolled for a chance to blow up a machine. Source: http://dulfy.net/2014/06/09/swtor-festival-of-splendor-event-guide/ Ah, but either type of machine can blow up, so despite the lower chance, every token of any kind you spend is giving you a chance to blow up a machine, so hitting on the exploding machine probably is going to be more common than getting a Rancor mount. I probably spent around 1-2 million on the event, and got all the achievements done, I got the Rancor the first day with less than 200k spent. The Vectron was the RNG holdout for me. I didn't track my credit expense closely, but I spent 200k-300k a day, and I did things to earn credits in game as well, so when I completed everything I ended about 500k richer then I started.
