hooty
Lots of people are going to end up with "dead" golden certificates. Given that the average spend required to get the Rancor jackpot is something like 2300 smuggler chips. The average person who plays the slots until they get a Rancor will have ~100 golden certs. Roughly half of those people will have even more certs. There's just not enough stuff on this vendor, given the huge incentive being provided for players to convert their credits and WZ comms to golden certs. HeatRacer
If they have that many, maybe they should be able to use em to buy some sessions with Gamblers Anonymous.
AlrikFassbauer
The average person who plays the slots until they get a Rancor will have ~100 golden certs. I heavily doubt so. I got my very first Golden CErtificate only yesterday. But on the other hand I'm not playing the Nar Shadaa slot machines full-time. So I rather assume that it'd be around 10-20 certificates. For casuals. But you seem not to be a casual gamer since you already have 100.
siegeshot
By the time I got my Rancor I had over 60 golden certs. They're absolutely useless. There needs to be 4-5x the amount of stuff on the Kingpin vendor. I have vids up on my channel to prove it. Thx.
hooty
Ok, more specifically (using the data provided on dulfy) it would be like 2347 smuggler ships purchased which leads to ~80 certs for the average person who plays until they get the rancor. So far my hit rate on golden certs is better than what Dulfy's data predicts. I've played 4000 smuggler chips and have gotten 165 golden certs, 4 magnuses, 3 explosions and 0 rancors. There are lots of people in the casinos playing with the one of 2 primary goals; 1. Rancor, 2. Get all the achievements. And we are less than a week in to a 2+ month event. Even for casuals, the single gear set's potential appeal is limited. How many non-smugglers is that set going to appeal to? There will be lots of dead golden certs out there. BW have underestimated the amount of diff prizes the vendor should have.
Cyberberus
Agreed, more stuff is needed. However comma pause Lets go towards encouraging *NEW* stuff like new companion customizations as opposed another disappointing re-color fest.
hooty
All new stuff would be great, but that's more work. I can understand them not wanting to throw a lot of resources at this, so I'm willing to hope for at least something (which is better than nothing). Caractacus
I have very nearly 100 certificates sitting in my bank. Would be nice if they added a few decorations, or anything really, to the vendor.
