  1. I have sat with this game since launch and I knew their were bugs from the get go and the game Developement took time to catch up as they fixed a lot of the issues. Now we are what 3years in now a lot of those old issues are fixed we have some new issues and I know Bioware is working on some of those. I think like myself there are a lot of people waiting for the next big MMO to come out to replace our play time we spend here. What we are waiting for is either that next big game or for bioware to come up with something amazing. All we see as far as content is an expansion every so often a new planet a few more levels to gain new gear to grind out. It's the same thing over and over again. In all honesty if I just wanted to play one game and if everyone was like that just one game was good enough then there would not have been any other game after PONG lol. That in itself proves that point. Growing up I had an old nintendo the reason why nintendo stayed in business is the kept games coming out and each new game had new features and new ways to do things. If all the games were the same well you can see where that would have gone. So unless bio ware you want this game to fall to the side then you better add different experiences to the end game content you bring out. Everyone seems to jump on the WOW band wagon I just think what it had offered at that time was good it grabbed the attention of the early generation of MMO players. But every game that tried to copy that strategy just took a step backwards. Bioware I see you tried to go forward with the story telling but all that did was take you a step sideways there wasn't anything that moves you forward. Now over the last year or so WildStar came out now all the hype around that seemed to be the sandbox atleast of MMO that's what excited people and when the game launched it flopped it had its flaws but that appeal of an open sandbox MMO is what got a lot of players to leave and go try. Now Everquest Next a lot of hype around that game and that game may deflate SWTOR for good when that does get released so it's up to bioware with this time you have till that game comes out to add more to this game to make it worth while to stay. Just because it's Star Wars doesn't mean people will stay. But let's look at what the hype is for Everquest Next well it's the open sandbox model again. Not sure if there is a theme here. Next thing I came across was that Sony was going to make their next game after Everquest Next more to the liking of Star Wars Galaxies but without the Star Wars franchise name. So why would they make a game like SWG because they managed it and sure they dropped the ball but they know where and seem to want to fix it. But more like Swg what about SWG is worth making a next Gen game like an old MMO well open sandbox model. https://www.therepopulation.com/crowdfunding/projects/the-repopulation-round-4/ The above link is to a new game in alpha still that's getting a lot of hype and is being compared to Star Wars Galaxies. So another open sandbox MMO so I knkw a lot of haters will say this isn't swg I know. SWG was a lot better than this game. And you can see in the above link and do google searches wild star and everquest next and now repopulation are being compared to that. So SWG lasted 8 years and I played all 8 years. I will be really impressed if this game lasts 8 years. This post isn't to create hate for bioware I knkw this is your first MMO and a lot of the problems you got were by listening to a few of the population which were of the majority of posters and following our opinion lead you down a bad path. Rather than listen to me and my thoughts take a look at what's trending for the future of MMOs and use that as your cue to fix this game or really just add to it or be working on a sequel. You don't want to be the company who took Star Wars a multi multi multi million dollar franchise and tanked at an MMO based on that game. There is an issue when Star Wars has more fans the globe over yet an MMO with the same name has struggled. Obviously the game is lacking somewhere so look at the future trends of mmo's and see what we can do to keep Star wars alive in the MMO releam.
  2. This is more for end game content but mini games in game to pass time between que pops may help the waits bare able. Also offers more in game content to help with giving variety in game. Maybe fishing in one or any of the lakes rivers in game. Can give rare fish trophies to mount in our strongholds to collection acheivements to maybe a rare mount even. Something rare that's hard to get and wroth getting. Maybe some sort of card game in game Or maybe revamp a new slot machine one that's free to play but with rare drops so it's worth using if it's free to use then no one will care it costs in game credits to play and will get a lot of use out of it. Just ideas to make the wait between PVP or FP pops more fun.
  3. Maybe even allow us to fish from the pond would be cool and with the possibility of pulling up a rare fish to mount on our walls in the stronghold. With a chance to pull maybe some sort of fishing rep or old cartel market rep item. With the rare chance of pulling up even a mount even.
  4. I would like to be able to send a company out on multiple gathering missions so when I log off he has done say 5 missions.
  5. The slot machine was a great idea. I would love to see a new version. Still have tight and small rate of drops. Throw in old faction rep and maybe some old cartel items and the possibilit of maybe a rare drop for a new item or even a slot machine just like the one they would use to win that slot machine help people get many slot machines for their stronghold. Maybe since drop rates are rare and buying coins to play is like gambling make the slot machine free to play. Make drops rare so if you are just killing time you may get lucky. So maybe 1 out of 5 pulls you wins something whether it's rep or an item and then rare drops that are rare. That new huttbball decor item looks nice but I don't see all the fun with it just walking around the stronghold with it. Maybe if we could have a timer and play keep away and break down into teams and the team with it longer wins. Maybe that could be cool. Maybe other mini games. Or a veiw screen where you can watch old cut sciences you have unlocked already. Maybe a fog machine. Would add to the sith strongholds error feel or make it more club looking Jukebox with more song selections and and music on repeat till you leave or turn off. It can play through a selection of in game music and you can leave it on repeat on one song or just repeat the entire collection that is offered on that juke box Another juke box variation but should be like the above play longer but a band or cantina band so you can have them play for you in your stronghold. I think more interactive items and mini games and newer slots especially if they are free to play even if odds of winning are low. Maybe even have the guilds hip plans as a rarer drop so maybe a guild night in someone's strong hold to try and win plans lol. Just trying to make bio ware more money and help keep subscriners busy and having fun. With interactive decor then a lot of the fun can be left with the players to make up and run rather than waiting for new content and repeating old content. The more interactive and unique te more cartel packs bioware could sell to. Anyone have any other ideas of interactive house decor?
  6. I read someone else talking about this and I liked the idea. Maybe have a Cartel pack with say a mount or mounts say with Republic or sith logo stamped on them. Maybe even a walker as an option or say even a rancor or other mount with a saddle or chest plate with that logo. House decor items that are faction based. Sets of armour that are new that are faction based as well. Maybe even come out with two new colour crystals one maybe green and white or gold and white for lightside and some sort of black and whatever for the dark side. Maybe a fri colour black grey silver. Some sort of new faction rep to for each side. With vendors on cartel section with interesting faction based reputation levels. Rather than one month having two packs maybe do one pack one month and the next pack the following month. Because this way here a lot of people have both sides may want both sets.
  7. Let's keep the post alive everyone who agrees post positive comments let's get the attention of the devs on this one. I can't see this being a complicated fix to alter a stack to 999 from 99. Even if bio ware wants to make it a 100 cartel coin purchase and only to subscriners that's fine. This would be more of a reward for subscribers anyway. I think it shouldn't cost any cartel coins to do that but if need be to cover the cost of paying someone to fix this then I am fine with that I understand it costs money. So I am ok with 100 cartel coins to purchase upgrades material stacks.
  8. Yeah they used to be good relics. I think adding a new shard and the different combinations with the old shards they could come up with some good ideas. In all honesty even if you were able to make one relic that was even better than the 198s that drop that should be ok. The relics drop on the first boss on both of the new ops so they are the first 198s that drop. I know a lot of people don't have them yet but a lot of people do I know plenty of guilds who have the first boss on farm. Or maybe make the relic have an ability that you can only use in the real world not in PVP or ops. Maybe some sort of shield so on those days you want to do a quest in te real world and you keep getting ganked that little shield grants you protection from real players not NPCs lol for say. 20min period or so enough time for dailies or whatever and that it has a several hour cool down so it doesn't get abused. So the relic would help for a short time and have no effect on PVP or ops. So you would have to swap to PVP or PVE relics when doing those things. Just an idea of what the new relic from shards can do to make it worth while to get but still doesn't effect the usefulness of the relics we currently get. Make it that only subscriners can use the relic/shield from a new shard as an incentive to be a subscriber.
  9. That or send out crew members on crews kills would be also a great app. Could be a way to increase some revenue charge 5.00 for the app and say add 1.00 per month to a subscription for the service once it's in place you don't have to update it that often you just have that one or two features.
  10. Nothing has been done to the PVP ranks and the legacy system in ages or even that family tree thing there is. Why not create a bunch more legacy levels with unlocks for things that tie in perks based on the family tree. Maybe a special ability that a father can pass to a sun maybe some sort of dumbed down force lightning or gunslinger pistol trick that can be passed down. Just an idea. As far as PVP ranks go as soon as you hit 100 there is nothing you should add 50 more ranks but those new ranks make the xp smaller to level becaus keeping with the trend it would take for ever to gain 50 more levels. Maybe add new title but allow new gear as rewards as well make it worth gaining levels. I don't have any ideas more than that possible legacy unlock for the family tree thing lol. Those are just ideas time to update some of the offerings in game. I did like they update the PVP vendor in the new patch coming up with new PVP items you can buy with Comms like new decor erc.
  11. I think they should add more legacy levels and some new petals and also create some perks for that family tree thing that nothing ever happened with it.
  12. Crafting is the leveling factor. Our guild is large and on weeks where we wanted a planet we have one crafter that crafts over 1 million. So crafting helps smaller guilds because say you have three toons that do that number it could help a win. So smaller guilds can't run an op multiple times to compete with a larger guild with more toons that can run more ops with lockouts and PVP well a large guild can throw 30 people pvping for hours straight a small guild maybe only muster 10 so the crafting levels the playing feild. Crafting does have some skill to organize mat gathering or even time grinding cash to buy mats which gets costly. If anything crafting takes more prep work than any other part of conquest. Guilds raid and PVP every week lol crafting large numbers takes work. And again it levels the playing field it's an equalizer not a lot of people like to craft we have a few people who do but nothing crazy except this one guy who can organize and gather like crazy.

Even if bioware can't do any of that have an option for guild masters or what ever ranks can do a mass email to guild so we can better communicate with each other or expand on the guild info tab that we can post weekly events or a calendar for monthly events for even multiple raid groups. And on the message of the day message have an alert that auto pops letting you know something has been added since the last time logged in. With people from around the world and different time zones and people on at all hours for a guild to function healthy communication is key so give us the tools to succeed. And also change the stacks of resources from 99 to say 999 atleast that would help save space for guild banks storing resources for conquest and for other crafting functions.
  14. In Star Wars tatooine was visited in the orginal trilogy twice and was visited in the second trilogy in each movie. It was revisited in the clone wars cartoon as well. In the books that are not part of cannon anymore tatooine was visited often and same goes for the old Star Wars comic books. Sure you can say the authors got lazy but that planet is iconic like a few other planets keep getting revisited. So also in game they should get updated. Maybe make a new daily area on tatooine littered with tuskens to kill and deal with. Maybe Fort Tusken is that around in that time period I Beleive it is. Maybe even have a mini boss like Toborros courtyard or the walkers. Or maybe even two. Maybe a Tusken King or a Krayt dragon or both two different instances. Why not between big expansions throw in a side story like this and it doesn't have to add to the main story line just a side story as you can see over the years there are tons of side stories going on at the same time as the main story. There was an old book called tales of Mos Eisley Cantina where a lot of those patrons in. A New Hope in that Cantina where we meet Han where they had their own stories. Currently each class has a crew member that you help doing a few quests for that don't pertain to the main story line. Maybe even add a new area to Alderan would be nice to enjoy it before it gets blowed up lol. Adding new area just makes the planet that much more bigger to explore. Maybe even add a new jedi temple somewhere and maybe a new matrix shard quest that work with the old matrix shards to make a current updated relic so those old shards are worth trying to get again. Maybe make the new relics endurance and alacrity or accuracy something not in game but with the right mods and enhancements could work. So more min maxing and variations.
  15. It would be nice to have more reasons to go back to the older planets again especially the iconic planets. How often in the sta wars media does Tatooine always come back. First trilogy and the second trilogy. How often did in the clone wars cartoon they ended back on tatooine as well. The new trailer shows a desert planet as well that looks like maybe it's Tatooine. It's an iconic planet and maybe they should add a new area to tatooine make it a bit bigger add maybe a new daily area and say a new mini boss like Toborros Court Yard and The Walkers. Maybe it can be a Krayt dragon.
  16. We know what's coming out next this was a suggestion an idea to *** along. Not saying it will happen but could be fun and interesting. These suggestions are about seeing what people like and are interested I . Doesn't mean that bioware may use that idea they may even do something similar. I read an article where within ten years they wanted 500 planets in game well that was before launch so I am sure things have changed.

Now they mentioned in the past that they could not design Pof racing so maybe they can design a way for there to be a start that goes off which it starts a timer and when your speeder crosses the finish line it stops timing it something simple like that can't be hard to program. Then fastest time of the day wins or fastest time out of that heat wins. Maybe you can use any speeder in game currently but have a new speeder that you can tweak to try and make it go faster and faster. Maybe have rare componets drop in game somewhere that a crafter needs and he keeps trying to Re and Re what he can make to keep getting new schematics and maybe down the road the newere schematics need other parts making it more in depth as a customization. Have it that by the speed rating of the engine determines the racing class or group that you can get into. I am sure they can have it that you can mode out your speeder similar to like how we can upgrade our ship back in te day. The cartel packs could keep offering cooler looking speeders that may want more people buying packs to get cool speeders. Myself and a lot of other people don't care so much about mounts but if they had racing like this customizing a speeder would make me want a cooler and cooler speeder to race every so often. I can see this making more money for bioware. And this wouldn't be a huge update just add on some planet maybe the Hutt world of marsh add race track for the hutts entertainment. Maybe every once in awhile add a new track somewhere else. Maybe you don't even need to place a physical new place just make it instances like PVP warzones. And have it where atleast two people can make it pop up to say even 8 racers or whatever. Just an idea.
  18. First off Bioware doesn't have to create a new planet with a rich back ground and story there could very well be just a distraction or a new fun planet. Now also they could give us a new companion as well that goes with the planet see examples below. But that new companion could just be a sort of tour guide for the planet but still part of the crew or only eligible when you are on that planet. Sort of a collaborator of sorts only working for you when you are planet side. Say bring in Rodia as a new planet they could have a Rodin as a new companion he can speak Rodin so they don't have to worry about voice overs so much. That planet could just be a bunch of dailies. But to make it more than just repeatable till the next set of dailies they need to make the rewards more useable. Have some sort of comm or item that we can cash in to get plants from Rodia for our strong hold or any kind of Rodiam artifact. Maybe the dailies consist of just hunting prey because Rodians like to hunt. Maybe also have acheivement or reward from a vendor collecting animal head trophies. Maybe make Rodia the planet you got to but the dailies and hunting quests could bring you to any planet to kill x amount of whatever to complete the daily. And ten you travel back to Rodia to hand in your hunted prey. Maybe even have options to capture x amount of a creature alive where you have to bring down their health like in the bounty hunter week. Or maybe make this a re occurring event like the bounty hunter event. You could do the same for Kashyyyk even. The rewards can be a wide variety of items. That you can purchase. Maybe even some tribal me lee weapons or some sort of tribal armour even. Also maybe have a quick travel unlock in legacy for that new planet that you can unlock with in game credits or 50 cartel coins allowing people to purchase the unlock and use up cartel coins.
  19. If they increased the stacks even to 999 they wouldn't need to increase our cargo bay storage most of my space is taken up by Mars lol.
  20. How about adding a new matrix shard or a few and have them on different planets if you are going to add new ones. But have the new one combine with the older ones to come up with a new relic. With the way the relic system is all those old matrix shards are pointless to get. Maybe have the new relics that would be made have a rating on the stats inbetween the 192 and 198 relics since the 192s have been out for awhile and since the HM are tougher and still a lot of people have cleared them maybe the that could help out abit. By adding one relic that you can combine with the old relics would be cool making all that old content current content by adding one thing. You could even make the quest a bit drawn out or the puzzles and challenges drawn out to make it not a quick and easy grab.
  21. I don't know how Mustafar plays in time this time line but Mustafar would be cool seeing the lava spew from lava River flows. I know Oricon looks probably similar but not quite. Kashyyyk a lush jungle environment would be a different planet type. Or if not that ten Rodia maybe even just have one of those planets as a hunting ground with dailes and acheivments to kill X amount of a creature and then get rewarded with a creatures stuff head to mount in our strongholds.
  22. First off what in section X do you need from there? Secondly that's dead content all bioware could do is add some drops to the area or herioc boss worth while to get to do it. Or even implementing so sort of new reward system making going back to all te old dailes worth while again.
  23. You know what would be cool an in game treasure hunt say that is a weekly event that you put in game like the bounty hunter contract week etc. Maybe pick up the starting riddle on fleet. Let's say te riddle the answer was a bantha well that clues you to tatooine. And say the second clue was a set of numbers or a second puzzle that gave an answer of a set of coordinates. Maybe at said cordinates are banthas that you kill till you find the next set of clues. Till you get say a third or even say fifth set so you repay the above till your last set of clues and in that area we have to use that seeker droid that isn't used much anymore to dig and find a treasure. That treasure could be anything from a speeder to a set of armour or even a random item from an older cartel pack not in circulation anymore. Also have an in game acheivment for individual players to solve a certain amount of hunts. Also to add alittle more co operative play in game for guilds and maybe some sort of cool rare decor item for a guild ship or one for every player as well in that guild if that's possible to the first person of a guild that digs up that treasure. So the riddles can be hard maybe even some weeks impossible or harder that a week could go by without someone winning. I can't see this taking a lot of programming to place a few mobs and drops and the seeker droid section. The clues are probably easy to implement in game from an item drop. The difficult part is probably bioware making up clever riddles and clues. Abit of our own davinci code or Indiana Jones element once in a while where guilds and players can use their mind instead of their DPS in game. With something like this it comes down to the mind of the group or player and a small guild can beat out a large guild because all it comes down to is one smart mind. This would be a lot of fun and something I don't if it has ever been done in an MMO and if it would be the first it would be something talked about and may even attract new players that like new and near stuff above what other games do. Even try it out once bioware I date you to and see what kind of feedback you get and if it's good then do it once a month or every couple of months. The Big Interfalactic Treasure Hunt...

ROI is return on investment any event they make will have no ROI unless it attracts new players most events are made to keep existing players happy so the ROI is hard to gauge because there is no way to judge how many people chose to stay and not quit the game. This so probably a simple to do place mobs create a loot item with a clue and repeat. Everytime they decide to do one of these it's just a different location a different mon and a different clue. So time invested and the cost is probably minimal compared to creating a new area. Think of the money that went into developing the black hole or section X those areas got played a lot but are useless now the money spent to make this is probably a lot less than a whole new area. Th selling point here is this kind of thing is different content which is better than new content because all the new content is the same kill a few mins then kill a boss repeat. There isn't much variation except for the mechanics involved. Variation in the in game things you can do makes people happy seeing bio ware make an effort to make new different stuff even if the first one struggles shows te community that they are trying to offer us more to do. All the money that went into making the old ops like eternity vault and KaragaS palace they are old content but just sit there sure we sometimes two man those old ops but maybe they should update them to level 60 content maybe offer them as group finder only and list it so when you complete said ops you get 5 or 10 ultimate comms. Make that content worth while and people will have more options to play more options more things to do is what is gonna keep players here. That's all that I am getting at with this post and this was an idea of something different the more ideas we get out there the more chances we may see something right. So don't go bashing ideas either support them or add input to make the idea better. All bashing does is makes it hard for bioware to judge what they should do because a minority posts on the forums we praise new ops and pvp areanas and all new ideas someone says nah don't do that so we need positive input and lots of it to get new ideas in game. If you don't like it offer an opinion of what you would do to make it something you would do. Let's work together to help give positive feedback to bioware to help make this a great game.
