-A Message from Major Alrek Torik (retired), Founding Company Commander of Alpha Company 203rd REL:

If you join Alpha Company you are the front line.

The only thing standing between the freedom and a Sith conquered Empire are the brave souls who decide they are going to stand and fight against oppression.

"We don't use lightsabers. We don't know how. We are not the jedi, their powers escape us, as we were not gifted with these at birth. But we can still fight.

Even the most gifted Jedi will fall to concentrated blaster fire.

Even the strongest saber wielder cannot block high explosive.

We started our trooper guild in Star Wars galaxies ten years ago. We led one of the largest and most popular trooper only guilds in the game...

We were featured in Wired Magazine in 2005 for the very first Darth Vader military inspection in game where our company of stormtroopers was visited and inspected by Darth Vader in game. We brought RP and PVP content to a game that had little in the way of immersion as we would patrol cantinas, harass aliens, and search for rebels. We would often sweep through battlegrounds in numbers exceeding 40+ and dominate against the Rebel Alliance. But now we have a new challenge.

Now with SWTOR we have a new game, new challenge, and we have decided to trace our lineage back to the origins of the trooper, only to be facing the sith this time around..."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alpha Company is a RP-PVP unit with a strict military structure and strong team based mindset. We are firm believers that our strength as unit is far greater than merely the sum of our players.

The pride of our unit is World-PvP, and fighting shoulder to shoulder with armor-clad troopers to take and hold territory. We also participate in other aspects such as Roleplay Events, Warzones, and PvE Flashpoints/Operations on multiple nights each week.

What we offer:

•Ranks, Which have meaning and responsibilities

•:Uniforms and Standards

•Strong Military Style Leadership

•A Mature, 18+ Player Base

•No Elitism or Drama

•A Roleplay Friendly Environment

•A Tight-Knit, Loyal Community

Now you too have the chance to join this honored legacy and become a member of the most respected military unit on Jung Ma. Click the videos below and discover what we're all about!

I posted this in your old thread then I read what you said about using this one rather than the old one so I am reposting it here.

Not related to your recruiting, but would you guys be interested in working on reviving the old rivalry? I am glad to see you guys making a comeback and I am hoping that maybe we could facilitate bringing that back. If you're interested in maybe some open world or something else let me know. Either here or in game. Both our guilds have too many young members that don't know the legacy of our rivalries.

I am most often on Radhili or Chellhis now.

PS now I am off to bump Reigns recruiting thread because we can't have yours on top. :D

We're always down to PvP Blue! I agree, it will be good to rekindle old fires. Let me know what you have in mind.

Ok, so we need to figure out some way of setting up an event then. I'll start contacting Reign's people about interest and when it would work. Maybe we could shoot for something in April, give us time to organize, as well as keeping it before the start of the summer schedules.

That'll work. I'll bring it up at the next guild meeting we have as part of our "guild relations" segment. Hopefully we can get some quality WPvP going!

Hello looking to transfer to this server. How active are you guys in open world?

We're probably the pub guild you'd see most often fighting the imps in the field. Regular patrols and CTAs (call to arms) contribute to this. As well as regular server RP/PvP events as you can see in the server forums.

So, after reading your guys website I have a question. I would love to fill out an application and create a new commando to join, but I worry I would not be welcome because of my schedule. I work a full time job, and often only have an hour or 2 to play in the evenings due to work. Only free days are some Sundays and rare Saturdays. I also have many close friends on Begeren colony. So would still spend about half my time there. Let me know if this disqualifies me from joining and I won't fill out an application. If it won't be a problem please let me know as I would love to be a part of this.

We aren't the kind of guild that will kick someone for being gone for a week. We realize this is merely a game and everyone has real life commitments. That being said, if you were to join you would have to attend SOI 1 and SOI 2 (our induction training) in order to become a full member. I'm sure you've read about this as well in the training manual. Leave is granted to those who request it and typically if a month passes without any word on your disappearance then you will be removed. You can reapply if this does happen but will have to start at the bottom again.

Essentially, we know this is only a game. People take time off all of the time. Just let us know if you need some time away. If this sounds agreeable, then by all means apply! If you have further questions you can contact one of us ingame or on our website.

Are you guys still active? I wanted to make a trooper on Jung Ma to try and join up at some point. I've heard of you guys a long time ago, and thought it would be fun since i'm coming back from a long long break from the game. I made a trooper and tried to send tells to officers at different times yesterday and today but it said "player not found'. Scared me and made me think that maybe you're not on Jung Ma anymore or not active.

Anyways thanks, hope I hear form someone.

Applogies for the delayed response. I must've over looked this last time!

To answer your question we are still very much alive. We just had a guild meeting last night to talk about the upcomin features of 2.9 housing/ships/conquests. We also celebrated reaching our 1st goal of 50 million credits for the initial purchase! Your best bet is to head to our website, make an account, and introduce yourself on the forums. You can get in touch with us ingame by doing a /who. And searching for alpha company to whisper a member of ours who will be able to put you in touch with an nco and officer. Any questions can be answered here, ingame, or on our website.

Thanks for your interest!

Can You answer my question? I'm only 11(so I dont have any military experience) (guild 18 up apparently) But I've been told that I'm very mature for my age and listen to orders, would I be allowed to join? This guild seems awesome! ;)

One other thing, in the recruitment video everyone is wearing the same armor,is that supplied or no?

To your first: I'll be honest, it's very rare someone under the age of 18 is let in. There have been certain special cases that we waived the rules for however, and this would be up to the command staff after being advised by the NCO or officer that interviews you. Normally those under 18 are only under by a year or two, so 11 is a little more doubtful. But I won't flat out say no because I haven't had the chance to judge your character and maturity. So the best bet is to take a shot, you never know.

To your second: The recruit uniforms you are given upon entry (except the legs as they are from the pvp vendor.) The regular trooper uniforms you saw in the video are the lvl 40 pvp armor set for troopers. So you will have to be lvl 40 to wear it, along with being promoted to Specialist as a full member once your training is complete.

Any further questions? :)

Wow thanks for the quick reply! I honestly just expected a NO, get out of here kid.

But anyway when you say try to join anyway, the reason I have not already is because I was looking at the website,

And I saw a post where a 14 year old tried to apply, and he immediately got turned down, so how exactly should I go about this?

I really couldn't tell you the best way to go about it. Create a strong representation of who you are and why you want to join and why we should take you. As I said, it is very rare for those under 18 to get in, even less likely at your age. But I do not make the final ruling. I leave that up to the XO and CO and advise them as best I can with my input in these types of situations. So the most I can say is: impress them, be mature, and don't expect too much. I'd say everyone has a fair chance, but I won't BS you and say it's likely.
