Diminishing returns? PVP Stats question

Lets say I'm going Rage. For my Enhancements, should I go with ALL Power/Surge? Or do I need to worry about diminishing returns?

You'll want accuracy too. Power and surge should be stacked, yeah. What else are you going to put those points into? Alacrity and crit?

I would put accuracy way below power and surge on the priority list though (stacking strength is also an option) as master strike is the only on focus building attack in a rage mara's rotation that needs accuracy. Everything else is a force attack and has 100% accuracy without any accuracy on gear. Power does not have any DR by the way, and stacking surge is still gives good returns even with DR.

Tertiary stats--- > Shield - Alacrity - Accuracy - Surge : These 4 stats share a budget

 

Crit is useless(-ish) you should go power all the way. As for the tertiary stats, you should have around 95% accuracy in PvP (all classes except consular have a 5% defense chance).

Your middle tree grant you a 3% buff to accuracy, and you get 1% from legacy melee tank companion. Those two will put you at 94% accuracy, in this case you can afford using one enhancement with accuracy to reach 95%, the remaining enhancements should be pure surge.

As for diminishing returns you don't have to worry about that, dps (and burst wise) power/surge is the way to go.
