That's really going to vary significantly depending on taste. I personally like an IO Mercenary. Good damage, DoT and run, lots of DCDs/escapes.

I do have the comms already for the basic PVP set when I hit 65. Marauder, btw. So basically, there's not enough of a difference between my PVP 174 and the 190 green to justify the effort in switching?

The stickies do not seem to be updated. (At least, the updated dates aren't recent.) I have PVP gear from before 4.0. My Expertise is at 2018. Should I swap out the gear for PVE stuff pre-65?

Here was my understanding - Gore's animation is 3s, but you can clip it around 2.7s and still get the full benefit. That leaves .3s to spastically smash DB,a s Gore ignores GCD and you can transition right from Gore to Ravage. Am I missing something? None of the guides mention doing this.

As title. With minor Alacrity, will Ravage/DB fit into a Gore window without using Berserk?

I did some testing, after going through a few of the Forged Alliances missions and getting some of the 162 gear. My old PVP gear actually DOES bolster up to max Expertise. By equipping the 162 gear, I typically trade some Str for some End.

Doing the math, I actually have enough comms for a full set of Exhumed once I hit 60. I was just trying to get an idea of the best set for sub-60. I assume Exhumed is better than PVE while bolstered at 60?

Returning to the game. I have a full set of 154 gear from previous PVP, which includes the set bonuses. It has slightly lower main stats than the 164, but includes some Expertise. Compared to the 164 gear you get from Forced Incursions, which set would bolster better?

Interestingly, with Bolster mechanics working the way they are, this statement is almost the complete opposite from the point that you wanted to make, I think. You can join a warzone with some entry level crafted or commendation gear and be close to Obroan due to Bolster.

Mar sucks at very low level. It takes some levels to start hitting your stride, but once you do, the mobility is excellent. Force Camo is essential, though, and it doesn;t come early. 45s cooldown for a reset button.

Got it. I should have 4500 Ranked comms and 10k Normal Comms or so when I hit 55. So, best bet is left side, then shells, then min/match for Str/Power?? Or should I just go for the mods/enhancements/armorings? Do I actually NEED to buy the shells for some reason? Sorry, it's been awhile. I still have a Champions Gear Bag sitting in my inventory.

I have Maxed Comms/Ranked Comms, and have collected a few swords so I'll be able to buy a few things right off the bat. I understand that I can make do with some PVE Mods/Armorings/Etc at the start and do well enough, but that Obroan is an upgrade. As a consequence, I'm not sure of the path I should take. Is my best bet to buy the Implants/Ear first, then Shells, then min/max mods? Or is a different order preferable? I do know to not mix PVE and PVP mods/armorings. I'm just confused as to which pieces I should start with, and what order to buy things in.

Thanks for the answer. I have a 450 Cyber, so it's not really an issue anyway. I just didn't want to make a mistake and remove the gear if it actually WAS working as level 50 stuff.

Can't find a recent thread that answers my question. If I unlock HK-51 on lower level characters, will I need to replace his gear? He comes equipped already, and his stats "read" at level 50, but over his portrait it has a red icon and says "you no longer meet the requirements" for all of his gear. Is it working? His damage doesn't seem very high, for sure.

Lets say I'm going Rage. For my Enhancements, should I go with ALL Power/Surge? Or do I need to worry about diminishing returns?

I'm a little confused on this point. In the pre 55 Warzones, should you be upgrading your gear? Assuming you are ONLY PVPing to 55, that is. What is the bets route to take? Never bothering? Only Augmenting? Staying current?

I have the opposite opinion.

I found that list to be really weird. Final Fantasy number 1? I hated that game. Neverwinter number 2? Another game that I found to be awful. I don't know, maybe I just have weird taste in games. ST:O was also a strange inclusion. While the SPACE part of the game is ok, if excessively grindy at the high levels, the ground game still sucks badly. PVP over there is also in a pretty bad state. Queues take a long time, and there are typically very few people there. If you end up with a decent premade on the other team (cash shop lockbox ships, voice comms, high end doffs), your night is done.
