It seems strange that you can buy armor but then nothing to upgrade it. It would also be nice since it is sometimes so hard to keep your companions upgraded as well. They obviously don't have to be as high level as drops on missions but would be nice to have something decent. It could also be like a package deal so there isn't a ton of different random mods, for example: all mods for a level 50 tank, healer, or DPS. AlexDougherty Posted December 24, 2013 Share Posted December 24, 2013 Well mods are available from the commendations modifications vendor on each planet (and fleet), so there isn't the huge demand, plus it would fill at least ten pages of the CM to have even a slapdash cross-section (thirty to forty for decent selection). I totally agree, and I even suspect people who act surprised and say that PCs are so easy to get, to be either trolls, or people who do little else with their lives then playing the game. Yet, having them available for sale in the Cartel Market might soon turn the game into a 'pay-to-win' event — unless these item modifications are bound to the character, and maybe even not reusable (so, if the slot they are in is upgraded with a better modification, the CM one vanishes instead of being send to your inventory).. Also, some people have a Crew Skill to produce them and earn a good 'living' selling them on the GTN. These people should not be put out of business by the CM store. The CM is already pushing the boundries with tje color crystals, but adding armor, enhancement or regular mods to the cartel market would be the demise of the crafting community all together and the many, many people screaming P2W would soon follow.
