  1. I tried to change this thread's title into the possible clearer "Increase the Strongholds' Decorations Limits!" but it didn't work. Anyway, *bump*
  2. I'd be somewhat upset, because they could do it then to any of the remaining companions. And I sorta like her, even though I often find her annoying as well. As for Temple: on my male Agent I found her very annoying (but somehow ended up marrying her I guess my Agent boozed a lot those days.) But now that I am leveling a female Agent, I find that Temple is a good mate.
  3. I know where it is (supposed to be), but on my Agent, who did not do the KotFE storyline but bought the access as a character perk, the planet is still absent from the map. He can go there using the priority transport, but not with his ship. Which makes sense, because the ship docking bay is inside the Alliance base that becomes accessible in Chapter IX of KotFE (I forgot that when I wrote the remark about it being weird).
  4. You're very welcome I've added it my sig, for what it's worth. Also, I intend to bump this thread. This idea is cool, and in addition it also seems not too complicated to implement for the devs, and also, to quote CrazyCT, it "would totally fit in with bonding with your own alliance, the way KotFE is taking the game". So, it has a good chance of succeeding, imho.
  5. Confirmation for the "updating" part, but I do have the possibilty to open the 'create a new ticket' popup. (I haven't proceeded beyond that because I don't need to make a ticket atm.)
  6. Been there, done that. My Imperial Agent, who hasn't done the KotFE questline, sends y'all his kind regards from sunny Odessen. But apparently we can only get there by priority transport — not with your starship's navmap... A bit weird imho. On the other hand, there now apparently is no longer a cooldown on the priority transports. Last time I used those, it was like a 6hr cooldown or so.
  7. Really?? That is a very nice thing to know! I wish there was a thank button on this forum, but all I can do is post seven stars to express my gratitude: ************************************************************* ******************************************************* *************************** ************************************* *********************************** ******************** **************************************************
  8. To be honest, I must admit that I feel like a fool because I haven't even noticed that my character remained mute Was this all through the KotFE storyline? If so, they must have been hiding it cleverly, and I truly enjoyed the storyline so I was probably too focused to notice. There is of course a matter that Bioware/EA, would need to either contract the original actors (who might not all be available) or get some good voice impersonators. But that seems not impossible to me. EDIT: Oh wait, are y'all refering here to the conversations like with e.g. Oggurrob Hutt when you deliver a package? You spacebar through those anyway after you've heard it a few times.
  9. I admit I only read the thread title, and that already made me realize you made the: Best suggestion since the release of KotFE Oww it would be so cool to do group content with Talos, Gyzen Fes and Yuun!! Or with three of the story-companions of KotE. Or Khem Val, Or, for the Bounty Hunters, with Gault, Skadge, and that annoying Mandalorian kid (My BH and most of his crew all wear the same uniform; I'd love to see them together!). (In fact the idea is so cool, that I'm even looking forward to read some people complaining about how it ruined the game! ) Btw Bioware whenever you are up to implement this, and I hope this will be scheduled for February, please add a Companion Team manager to it, so that we can save and name certain combinations! (Similar to how some addons for WoW enable you to save Pet Battle teams)
  10. The VIP area is a huge disappoint indeed. There should be something cool or useful, making you want to go there. Iirc the only unique thing there is, is a fairly crappy mount for sale for 2,000,000 Of course, with the SHs the need to visit the Fleet has decreased for many people anyway, and I couldn't even think of something suitable for the VIP area. A bunch of vendors that sell a lot of specialty goods. Astromech and Powerdroid pets, etc.
  11. Btw what I wonder, and some people might consider this question and certainly the answer a spoiler, is:
  12. Good feedback sofar, thanks people (and let this not stop you ) Good point! But not good enough to ruin my Agent's and Bounty Hunter's career on.
  13. I have done the KotFE questline on my main, and on a char that I made to use the free lvl 60 char offer, and to be honest I do not use that char very much because it is quite a hassle, and much less fun to go through all the quests to recruit the companions again. I do very much like to do them once, with my main, but that's it. So, I'm thinking of just not doing the KotFE questline on the rest of them. I am no wondering whether there are anu huge and/or obvious drawbacks that I am now overlooking. Obviously they cannot travel to Odessen, and Zakuul has got nothing to do (and I couldn't also see the taxi director, so couldn't get past the landing zone) but I'm not even sure if that's a disadvantage... Any thoughts?
  14. No it doesn't: You actually do get stronger even if your scaled, because of new-learnt abilities, your progress in your skill (talent) tree, gear bonuses etc. Leveling up grants access to more regions (the scaling doesn't work upwards) Some people complain level sync makes the game too easy, while others think it not fair that you do not 'outgrow' the NPCs. These two points of view cancel eachother out, imho.
  15. I want to able to, and do run around in whatever outfit I desire. Most of it is Sith-ish, some of it might be considered Agent-ish or Trooper-ish.
  16. Some things even won't show up when you auto-fill the search field (by shift-clicking the item while your cursor is at the field). In my experience those items still show up when you browse the entire category, but it's of course not very convenient. Often you'd be willing to compare prices of just that specific item. Btw sometimes it's a matter of removing short words like 'of' from the title (which itself is already a bit absurd) but it's certainly not always the case that the issues/flaws/bugs of the GTN can be bypassed by being smart while searching.
  17. I agree! 5 banktabs of 40 ain't not enough; I could easily use 10 more. Maybe they should make that a 60+ perk. I do use the outfit designer, and it only makes me want to save more armor, because sometimes a low quality piece looks cool, and its crappy stats won't affect me anyway. (And I do not dispose of things after I used them — I want to be able to repeat it, or make a variation, or equip a companion in similar fashion.)
  18. I'm sorta relieved that I'm relieved of finishing that novel about the Yuuzhan Vong or whatever they were called. That was one of the few post-ROTJ releases that I partly read, and while it wasn't even awfully bad, it felt like a pretty generic family soap, set in space (ironically, I recently read that George Lucas referred to the saga as being intended as such). I did like those two Dark Empire comic albums btw! And I presume the Timothy Zahn books were okay too, but I didn't read them. Oh well TFA is set like 30 years after RotJ, so I presume we are free to believe that for a while, the remnants of the Empire were governed by a blue hominid with red eyes. (I don't believe Chiss are featured in any of the new canon material, are they?) Btw talking of 'complete and utter rubbish': I really dislike that Clone Wars animation series, and that other series that is drawn in the same way. Why couldn't it have been drawn just slightly more realistically, like ? I find that watchable (although — or even because it is old.) But that Clone Wars characters look like they were intended as parodies, except that they aren't funny. Kinda bizarre that this made it into the canon, but it is of course a matter of marketing and not of quality.
  19. In the pre-KotFE game it was quite a hassle, and also a big part of my game enjoyment, to invest in companions: outfit them with good gear, augments etc. to optimize their support. Sometimes I miss that. I'd have preferred a system with equipable companions in combination with an appearance designer for companions over what we have now. I realize though, and have some understanding for this, that with all 60+ lvl players having so many companions, it would consume much more data storage space on the server if all the companions would be wearing equipment. Maybe it would be an idea if only the stats of our companion's weapons (and off-hands) would count again? It could be made so, that it would act as an amplifier over the influence level, or as an addition to it. That way, it would only require one more parameter for each companion, and not a complete re-design of the companions system.
  20. The whole idea of setting this game about 3600 years before the events in the movies, was not to risk conflicting background stories. A smart choice of the original developers; all the lore of the game world can claim some sort of 'deuterocanonical' or 'apocryphal' status without having to depend on explicit permission of Lucasfilm (and nowadays, Disney). I was never too thrilled about the name though... Not that I know an obviously better alternative, but The Old Republic seems too specific, and also too much detailing one political side of the conflict.
  21. Exactly! Well, I do feel a bit guilty about the companion thing, because somewhere in the past I was one of those people who fantasized on how cool it would be to invite your Alt's companions to your ship (the SHs weren't there yet) and also that it was almost undoable to keep upgrading the gear of all your companions (I used to do that — I wanted them all to have the modifications reflecting my level; spend fortunes on that). So, in a way, this is what I asked. And I certainly like many aspects of it, like have a great lot of companions now, and e.g. <SPOILER> But, as said, the companions should have had an appearance designer too (in fact I remember it being announced in an interview on Dulfy). SPOILER:
  22. I apologize for adding to the noise & confusion. Those Heroics 2+ that you can get from the Odessen mission post, are of course easy but I would absolutely manage to die in some of them, if I wanted / tried — or just screwed up severly, but that would involve pulling too much mobs, which one obviously wouldn't do when AFK. Anyway, I do not at all share the perception that you can just have your companion do all the work (For a limited time though, when KotFE was just released a few days, it looked like that though; apart from initiating the fight, you did in fact not have to do much). But last time I tried to do a Heroic 2+ Star Fortress I still did not manage to to complete it (died at the end boss, and it wasn't bad luck — just couldn't do it. Btw for perspective: You describe yourself as a bad player, but I presume that in comparison to me, you should recalibrate to 'mediocre' ) It might be a strategy from Bioware/EA, to differentiate from other Star Wars games out there, and in the making: let the other games have the advanced boss fights, and SWTOR focusing on story content. Isn't that how Blizzard differentiated WoW from Diablo? Btw Joonbeams you are quite eloquent, for a Wookiee EDIT: I forgot not somewhere in the above; corrected now
