Kaedusz
You display a negative opinion towards ... the results of some of them. Minding their existence is something different, which requires a level of caring + negative attitude towards them, that are not present. Stinghen
Happier were the days when being uber-extremely powerful for a Sith Lord was being able to return from the dead. I mean, the only ones who had done that before the KotOR-era were Exar Kun and Freedon Nadd (and they sorta cheated a la Obi-wan, and just returned as a spirit capable of possessing others) and the appice of the Sith tradition, His Majesty Galactic Emperor Palpy. But then along came Sion, Nihilus, Vitiate, and suddenly it was alright to consume entire planets/galaxies, manage to stand after being buttered up by a lightsabre and crap just like that. No, Palpy is not able to devour the galaxy. But yes, he is the greatest Sith Lord that ever was, that was why he succeeded in his war against the Jedi Order and the Republic. I don't give two craps about the fact he doesn't have doomsday powers, doomsday powers are dumb and not worthy of Star Wars. It is an unfortunate and uncomfortable fact that the dumb doomsday powers were made canon, but that's because some people who are fed that crap spend more money because of it, so they made it official canon lore. But one little piece of canon cannot be hijacked by any fanciful source with delusions of grandeur: Darth Sidious was the only Sith Lord capable of conquering the Republic. Period.
