PoT5 Streamers

Recommended Posts

Just curious who on PoT5 streams rated matches? I'm interested in watching some of the matches that take place on the server but I'm unfamiliar with who streams matches. If you stream or know someone that streams I would appreciate a link to the streamer. Thanks.

i would reccomend this stream for rwz action. I dont watch alot of rwz streams anymore but i know he does a good job of answering stream questions for all of his viewers. You can go to his past broadcasts and see previous ranked games. http://www.twitch.tv/darkyoda11/profile/pastBroadcasts

If your looking for a very active streamer on pot5 that you can find online at almost any point of the day Id reccomend this streamer. He dosent do rwz but you will still see alot of pvp action on the server and hes a nice guy.

Devil is also a good streamer but i could not find his channel link sorry.

I dont watch a ton of swtor streams anymore as i rarely play but i know both of these guys do a very good job of reading there chat and will answer your questions. Hope this helps

He commentates on rated matches from all servers. The commentary is more entertaining than the match.

Here is the list of streams from the POT5 PvP Facebook group. Some are active, some aren't. And of course, not all of them stream rateds. But you should find some good game footage.

Hey OP, can you make a new thread called

"List of POT5 streamers who don't block their mumble chat, mini map, raid frames, and chat boxes"

i enjoy streams when i can actually see 50% of the actual screen and i can hear people talking.

also, i want to get in on the next gen pot5 strats; currently can't do that because they block mumble chat :[

1) People talk to a lot of people about a lot of things on SWTOR, you don't need to know what they're typing in chat.

2) I never understood the mini map cover. If you're running a delay for ranked then who cares?

3) I'm yet to see a blocked raid frame.

4) Do you need to hear their mumble to know their strats? I figure seeing them play out would be just as good...

It would be nice to hear what everyone is saying. I know I would def prefer to hear team's talk during the game to actually see how much teamwork they have.

That being said - Pot5 is genuinely competitive so it is in a team's best interest to not showcase their team's conversations during or after a game!. From what I read on Bastion forums they have an artificial-competitive scene (lol) so they don't mind when teams stream watch during games and listen to the team communicate.

Understand feeling the need to cover chat and map. Sure if you want to mute your mumble go for it BUT if you do want to mute mumble then play some music... too often players will mute mumble and force the viewers to watch matches in silence! GRRR!

As someone who usually streams with no audio because I haven't found the time to set up VAC, I really don't understand why this is an issue. Just play your own music, nobody's forcing you to sit there in silence. Half the time I end up muting streams w/audio because they are playing crappy music or the songs sound like crap because the stream quality is low (the latter happens on my channel, for example). Maybe I'm too picky?

/end mini rant. sorry!

I generally run twitch in the background while I play so I really do appreciate a streamer that has great audio. I usually look for great music or interesting conversations. If I run music in the back ground I usually don't have twitch up and going. No offense but your the one streaming and from experience the streamers that entertain viewers generally gain and retain a larger population of viewers. I really think that people put a little too much into stream sniping. I believe twitch has a 30 second delay option and that is more then enough to make what is said and viewed as next to irrelevant. Besides anyone in a match shouldn't have the time to be watching a stream and taking part in a competitive match.

I hear ya. And I totally agree that sometimes people can be too paranoid covering their maps and stuff. Idk, I can see how music is nice if you have it on in the background. Just for me, if I have a stream open its definitely all I'm doing... guess it just depends how you use twitch! :D Separating my music and my teamspeak is definitely on my to-do list.
