MajonaseKase Posted July 12, 2013 Share Posted July 12, 2013 Hi all, this is my first forum post; I apologize in advance if I didn't follow protocol properly. My brother and I enjoy doing quests together in a group, which is good fun, but on several occasions he's gotten more rewards than me at the end. We just finished the Ilum quest line, which culminated in the "False Emperor" Flashpoint. Upon returning to the Grand Moff to complete the quest, I was rewarded with 5 Planetary Commendations, a couple of Biometric Crystal Alloys, and a Lockbox. He was given the same things... plus a killer set of PvP armour, the "Campaign Warleader's Body Armor". It was listed under the "Additional Rewards" from which you had to pick only one; I didn't have anything down there to choose from. Another time after finishing quest (I can't recall which one, it was several days ago... sorry), he got to choose from six different lightsabers as an additional reward for a quest. Again, I didn't have any such option. Just wanted to see if anyone knew anything about this, why it's happening or if it's normal. He is a level 51 Sith Juggernaut, and I'm a level 52 Sith Sorcerer. Jenzali Posted July 12, 2013 Share Posted July 12, 2013 I can confirm for the Revan flashpoints questline, as a Sith Juggernaut I had a choice of 6 custom moddable lightsabers, while my Assassin friend of the same level was not able to choose any moddable items as a reward. Your class will get something uniqe and special for another quest where others will just get the regular stuff. Why they split it up i dont know, but thats how they did it. I highly doubt that your buddy got a PvP reward for a PvE mission tho, but that might just be you misremembering what he got. Also, sometimes you get additional stuff for doing the bonus mission and if you missed out on that, but he didnt he might have gotten it because of that. Eitetsu Posted July 12, 2013 Share Posted July 12, 2013 I have recently completed the Ilum questline on two Republic characters, and the rewards differ based on class, but are ultimately the "same." You get comms, a purple lockbox, and your choice of a campaign chestpiece suitable for your class. These rewards are displayed in your quest log like any other quest. My apologies, I thought that the Campaign Warleader's chestpiece was PvP for some reason. Regardless, I am certain that he got it; our computers are in the same room, he showed me on his monitor. Heh. Also, yes, we are both subscribers and have been for the same amount of time. We started the quest and completed all the steps (including the bonuses) together... as far as I know, we did everything equally.
