Can someone link me to an up to date shield specialist build for PvE and PvP?

Hi, I'm new to the game, played a little bit, got one character to 40, and I'm wanting to play a tank now. Trooper interests me the most, but all the builds I have been able to find are for older patches of the game, and I'm not sure if they're relevant still. Basically, I'm looking for both PvE and PvP builds for shield specialist; I'd like to learn how to tank while I'm leveling up by hitting up heroics, flashpoints, and warzones, even if that may not be the most efficient build for leveling.

Thanks if you can help me out.

For PvE, this is the spec you want to use (Soldier's Endurance is completely worthless; 3% Endurance is less than 1k hp, which doesn't do much for the tank with the most stable incoming damage profile).

I've got no clue about PvP tank spec (I actually think the favored one atm is a hybrid, but I'm not ever all that sure about it).

Blaster augs? Arent they useless? I mean, not saying that endurance is better, but I always tought that skill is even worse. Maybe better for tactical tools to reduce cd?

and for pvp I would go with this - http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#801GRrrdRrRrdRRZbZb.3

everything that is useless for pve in shield tree is good for pvp

8% more damage from Ion Cell is actually pretty amazing, especially since I also believe that it increases the damage/threat from the DoT tick as well (which is high threat). For a single talent point, it's a remarkable amount of damage and threat even if it doesn't seem like much.

My understanding is it only affects the intial tick, as the dot effect is actually separate from ion cell.

I remember reading from another guide that blaster aug adds 3k damage over 15 minutes, which is terrible

Yes, I recall something like that as well, thats why I'm avoiding it (I was using it before) now. Would like to know for sure.

If it were, I'd be curious what a better option would be: 3% bonus damage to Ion Pulse isn't going to be particularly useful since it's used all of once every ~9 seconds (with the exception of the damage debuff reapplication, you're better off using Hammer Shot for the higher Ion Cell proc chance thanks to Energy Blast) and the 1.5 second reduction in the CD of Pulse Cannon isn't really useful thanks to the CD reset on Pulse Cannon (the damage/time/cost on Pulse Cannon if you don't have the proc isn't worth it on a single target when you factor in Ion Cell ticks). A single point in Soldier's Endurance isn't really going to be all that useful either. At that point, it's just a question of what the *least* useless talent point is.
