Monoth Posted June 9, 2013 Author Share Posted June 9, 2013 Obviously you wouldn't be able to use it on all companions such as Val Khem , but it would be nice to change up some of the human companions. The companion kits they offer from various NPC's are lacking style big time and to be honest most of them are just plain ugly. I would have no issue in locking in their sex and race given their pre-recorded voices but it would be nice to change their hair style, face, color, etc...etc... The majority of the companions are built the same way as our characters, and the companion customizations aren't all that unique compared to what the character creator/barber shop offers. They of course would have to lock you out of editing their gender, race, and body type. Gender and race for story purposes. Body type you wouldn't be able to edit due to the fact that all the cutscenes are specifically framed. For example if you changed Mako from Type 1 to Type 3 the framing wouldn't adjust for it but instead the camera focused on her neck rather than her head/face due to the height difference a Type 3 body would create. The shots that frame our characters were designed with all 4 body types in mind where as the companions weren't. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
