xXxLATVIANxXx
what about the combat or focus trees? Isnt combat tree better for pvp?
Alec-Trentini
I think all three are very good for pvp. I'm using Annihilation (Watchman) for the moment and do excellent damage to single targets. Self heals are great too. I'll switch to Rage (Focus) tree once I get to level 50. HaemmernZeit
I agree, Mega pushes so far into DR for surge that you could switch out an enhancement or two or three and probably get better results. And with so many people playing as Rage/Focus, I think picking up the two points in defensive roll is necessary.

And with so many people playing as Rage/Focus, I think picking up the two points in defensive roll is necessary. This isn't correct. The ONLY thing he could swap surge for is accuracy, which is at an even LOWER premium in PvP. Only Consulars/Inquisitors have 10% base defense. There are no enhancements to swap for better results. Also, the short skirmish lengths in PvP work AGAINST crit rating. Randomization is not a desirable PvP trait. That's why auto-crit or heavy armor pen builds are typically the preferred PvP DPS specs. HaemmernZeit
I've looked at Mega's gear, he's sitting at 77 or 78% with 7 of the high power/surge enhancements and ear/implants. Looking on torhead I couldn't find any high power/crit only the power/surge and power/accuracy, so maybe you are right. But, Mega did write a good guide, just change the gearing on personal preference, as far as crit and expertise goes.
