Crawelc
Think his name is Vaughn. He has dropped out of the next X-Men film and is currently in negotiations with Disney. Looks like we found our Ep 7 director.
jarjarloves
yup still a rumour but a creditable one. I think the more impressive movies on his list are Layer Cake and Stardust which is one of the best movies in the past 10 years and the most like what a Star Wars movie should be as far as tone and style. VicSkimmr
I'd be happy with him. He's a good director. Just the fact that First Class turned out so well despite all the issues they had and the stupidly short time frame indicates he knows what he's doing. redfurry
I haven't seen Stardust (looks like I should!) but I love Layer Cake and X-Men First Class, and I enjoyed Kick-*** a lot, so I'm really excited for this news! I hope it turns out to be true.

Looks like we found our Ep 7 director. X-Men: First Class was a great movie, and included the best cameo ever. Wolverine in the bar FTW! lol If it's true, I think he could do a good job with Episode VII. Would prefer Joss Whedon, but can't take anything away from Matthew Vaughn. He's still a better director than George Lucas. lol
Eightus
I think Matthew Vaughn would be a great choice. Ive seen all of his movies except Layer Cake(I will watch it someday) and Ive more than enjoyed each one of them. So I am really hoping that he will direct the new SW movie.
