  1. yes that droid was awesome. He had the mannerisms and the voice pacing down PAT. Then you add his little sunglasses attachments and you could tell it was a clear homage to CSI: Miami. Awesome little details there. The music in this episode was especially awesome. Really the last 2 episodes have had some amazing music. Lots of familiar themes with slight variations.
  2. Just watched the episode again. They have really come a long way in their fight choreography. That whole last fight between Palps, Maul and Savage was a work of art from beginning to end. They can now accurately depict emotion while fighting. You could definitely see how Palps was just playing with them. He didn't exert himself at all. And the motions have gotten so much more fluid than the first few seasons. Really, really incredible stuff. I also noticed just how beautiful and cinematic some of the scenes were. Obi-Wan watching the battlefield after he opens the door to the hangar with his lightsaber out was an incredible image.
  3. No, this is a well known bug. Try doing a little research before immediately calling someone else stupid.
  4. Episode 16 Review? HOLY ****. HOLY. ****. HOLY. ****. HOLY. ****. HOLY ****. I about lost my mind, this whole episode was so full of ******ery I'm not sure I could properly take it all in with one sitting. And the sound, good god the sound. That episode will easily be my reference for showing off my theater room when it comes out on blu ray.
  5. OMG YAY. This plus Arndt scripting it... I have complete confidence this will be amazing.
  6. been here since Feb 2009 baby. took a short break when GW2 came out but I came back quick enough once that game's shine wore off.
  7. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that people are whining, but this community continues to amaze me. People complain when good looking mounts are only included in packs. So, they allow the next speeder to be bought directly like people requested, and then they complain about pricing. I'll happily buy it just like I do all the other things I like on the market. I support the types of items I like in the hopes that it will convince them to continue to develop things like it. We had 9 months to convince them that this game didn't need to go F2P to survive and we failed as a community to show them. So now we have the cash shop and if we want new items to be added we need to directly support their development, that's just the way it is. If you don't like it, then DON'T BUY IT. People have been complaining since launch about how they don't want to pay for things they don't like, so now they get the chance to only pay for the things that they DO like and yet they still complain.
  8. The theory that only a small percentage of players will utilize the SGR options is laughable at best. How many males play female characters in game? Lots. How many of them would turn down the option to have their female character make out with another female character? I'm guessing none.
  9. It only seems as though they're only adding gear via the cartel market now because we haven't seen any new endgame content since the market went live. Eventually they'll release a new tier of gear for both PVP and PVE with new looks. In the mean time, they'll continue to put armor they know people will pay cash for on the market. They just released the elite war hero tier for pvp, so the next tier should be a redesign if history means anything
  10. This is seriously the worst idea I've seen on these forums in a while, and that's truly saying something. All of those fancy things on the cartel market ARE available in game for credits right now, that's the beauty of the system. You don't have to buy gambling packs, you don't have to buy expensive armor, you can wait till someone puts it on the GTN and buy it for credits, problem solved. I would put money on it that at least 90% of subscribers utilize the cartel market. Anyone willing to play on a server without is willfully gimping their experience. Who wants to pay millions of credits for unlocks that can be purchased for a couple of dollars? Bioware is making a killing off their cartel market, they would never consider implementing a server that would limit their profit by design.
  11. That's not what's happening and that's never going to happen. They've said all along that any SGR companions would be NEW companions, likely obtained the same way HK51 was.
  12. this is truly making a mountain out of a mole hill. you want to know how much effort it will have taken to introduce this? the 2 normal NPCs that would be romanceable will now be coded to allow the romance dialog no matter which gender you are. that's it. the voicework will be gender neutral so it won't matter if they're talking to a male or a female. done. they would have been doing the new voice work for the expansion regardless, now those dialog options won't be gender restricted. no extra work, no precious resources being diverted.
  13. I'd be happy with him. He's a good director. Just the fact that First Class turned out so well despite all the issues they had and the stupidly short time frame indicates he knows what he's doing.
  14. I feel like if Han Solo has a happy ending, Disney has failed. At the very least, he should sacrifice himself to save lots of people, but I would much rather him get betrayed and go down fighting, potentially causing his son/daughter to turn to the dark side.
  15. The agent story is arguably the best out of all of them. I would highly recommend it.
  16. I lost some good ones when I came back too. It's sad but at this point I'm treating the game like a single player RPG with flashpoints so it's no big deal. RIP Discord and Hope. You were good characters, but now your watch has ended. We will never see the likes of your kind again.
  17. Singer was good, Vaughn did a good job with First Class also. Aronofsky has a lot of potential too. I would have originally thought Zach Snyder would be good but I think he's too much style and not nearly enough substance. Really there are lots of capable directors out there today. As long as they don't choose Michael Bay or the Wachowski brothers I'll be optimistic.
  18. To an extent, yeah I agree. I do hope the new trilogy is less like 1-3 and more like 4-6. I just don't think he would want to take on a sci fi movie that includes plasma swords and magic. None of his movies have had any sort of fantasy element, they're all strictly grounded in reality. I don't think he would do it justice, much like how his Batman movies are incredible as films, but fall short in the super hero category because he cares so little about the action part of it. We need a Star Wars trilogy with the heart of the OT and the action of the PT.
  19. They have 2.5 years to get back in shape, I'm pretty sure the way they currently look is totally irrelevant to this discussion. Let's not be dissing Carrie Fisher, for a lot of us she was our first love.
  20. There's no winner or loser here, except the American education system. I don't like Brolin, he's bland and forgettable, which is the polar opposite of Han Solo. Maybe he'd do ok, who knows? I haven't been impressed with anything he's done so far. I've already said I don't think I could get behind any actor to be re-cast and I don't think there's any reason to recast him. Depending on the story they come up with, this could be Han Solo's last Star Wars movie. I just don't see the need to try and find somebody to step in those shoes, and I don't think anyone really could. If I was forced to make a suggestion, I'd say that Nathan Fillion was channeling Han Solo pretty hard core as Mal Reynolds, but I don't think he would do it for me either. I like the previous suggest of Aaron Eckhart too. He might be able to pull it off.
  21. Until you learn to spell I'm not going to bother trying to have a conversation with you.
  22. in Star Wars? Seriously? There are so many plot holes in Episodes 1 and 2 that some people question whether the movies even have plots. Honestly, I would view a reboot of Star Wars like I treat the reboot of everything else. I would hold the original material separate from it in my mind and enjoy the new material on its own merits. A remake of Episode IV would not hinder my enjoyment of the original.
  23. Ok fine. It's nothing a little cybernetics and some star wars magic can't fix though
  24. I'm not ashamed of it, he's a good director. Star Trek - Very good, even more so because I'm not a Trek fan at all Mission Impossible 3 - The best of the series Lost - Excellent but way too long Super 8 - For the most part good The stuff he acts as producer for is a little more hit or miss Fringe - Excellent until last season Cloverfield - Easily the best "found footage" film I've seen Revolution - I'm still watching it but getting more and more annoyed with Charlie Person of Interest - Lost interest midway through the first season Alcatraz - Haven't watched it You'd have a much harder time legitimately explaining why he's bad than I would explaining how he's good. Team Spielburg and Abrams together (like in Super 8) and we'd have the potential for an excellent new Star Wars movie.
