Whew...I won't be making a living off these any time soon, but hey, this is fun practice as I start learning drawing stuff.

Two stories that go with all the stuff I'm about to post

Story 1:

 

 

Art Wannabe Self = AWS

Math Capable Self = MCS

 

AWS: That thing bright wrote was so funny, it would be perfect to make a little booklet out of it.

MCS: That sounds time consuming, if you depict the whole thing it will take a long time.

AWS: Nah, I already do that for the stories it'll only take a little longer.

MCS: You do that for one line, this story has many lines.

AWS: But pictures are like a thousand words, this thing doesn't even have a thousand words.

MCS: That's not how picture books work.

AWS: I can reuse some of the art, most of the characters are the same over and over.

MCS: This is still a considerable time investment.

AWS: Quit worrying.

*Starts working*

AWS: Wow, this is going to take a long time.

MCS: ...

AWS: How long have I taken already.

MCS: As if you can count that high.

AWS: Maybe I should give up. But I've already done so much, I'm already halfway done.

MCS: You only sketched half the images you need, they're all just roughs and you still will need to line and color.

AWS: Ya so halfway done, I should finish.

MCS: F***

 

 

Story 2:

 

 

When I was in pre-school, before they became weird pre-requisites for college, I became very ill and missed two months of school. I do not remember being ill as I had a fever the whole time but I do remember the inch thick stack of papers they sent home for me to color. I don't like color. I wore nothing but black before goth was a thing where I lived (I was eight) because matching my clothes was something I could not give two sh*ts about.

 

So as a four year old who had a huge stack of papers to color I was miserable. I then realized they never said I had to choose different colors or colors that made sense for what I was coloring. I picked up the first crayon at hand, brown, and colored the entire page brown. I only switched when the crayon became too worn down to use. The coloring job was so bad when I came back to school my teacher showed my "work" to the whole class to give an example of what bad coloring looked like. I did not care, coloring sucked.

 

Now many years later I still wear only black, brown, and gray, and when faced with a (virtual) stack of things to color, I am not terribly creative in my choices. Coloring still sucks, Mrs. Lindsey, coloring still sucks.

Despite what I just wrote in the spoilers above I had a blast making this, even though it's not the best it was still fun.

Broonmark has appropriate violence and beating on alphabetically appropriate helpless species! And and Talos actually uses boustrophedon! (Which I actually learned specifically for the story, as I was seeking an impressive-sounding historical or linguistic term starting with 'B'.) And the victorious Empire gets confetti! And "*Ensign Temple does not have lackeys nor will she ever," which is a very true footnote. And Vette is so cute.

 

And I feel like I should make Lord Scourge's "Shut up." my new user icon everywhere forever.

This is AWESOME!!! I want a plushy Baby Vette, she's sooooo cute!!! And I want a...well, let me just say that Scourge on the last page, um yeeeeah.... :D

That said, my operative uses Vector exclusively. I think he's great.

 

 

*shrugs* temple's prolly better if equally geared. finally managed to get vector in full rak/bf gear. gonna go for full bh/orange bracers and belt soon. what can i say, i like watching him swing and twirl that lil stick around.

I don't have Temple yet. I just remember being at the end of the Alderaan class quests and having Vector full time. He was dressed in his starting clothes with starting weapon. I accidentally aggroed a gold, two silvers and a pack of normals. And Vector and I killed them all with slivers of health left.

 

Kaliyo would have gone down like....

 

You know.
