Combat Medic 1.3 build

So I was looking for a PvE build for 1.3 and ran across this:

I have a few concerns however...

 

First is the build does not take Steady Hands which I would think would be a necessity for a Medic. Is this a wise decision?

 

Second is taking Med Zone. Wouldn't the extra DR from Treated Field Dressings be a better choice over the long run?

 

Not earth-shattering issues, but I've not really seen any build action concerning Combat Medics since 1.3

Well, there are always some choices you can make when it comes skill specialization. I would take Steady Hands over Weapon Calibrations myself and Treated Wound Dressings over Med Zone. A pushback at the wrong time can be devastating and less threat done is always nice (especially if the encounter includes adds spawning from thin air). I also see constant 4% damage reduction superior to +20% healing received when reactive shield is up.

That's the build I've used forever and it's great for pretty much every situation from levelling to operations to war zones.

That's what I thought, especially while leveling. Reducing pushback has always been high on the list of things to do as a healer in other MMO's and constant DR has always seemed a better choice than modifying a long CD ability.

 

I'll have to keep playing around with things as I get closer to 50.
