Who without guilds have NEVER played operations?

Recommended Posts

Are there any of you who wanted to play OP but was not able to find people to run it with, or anyone who were able to run it with PUGs?

I want to know how many of the guildless were unable to play operations which necessitate LFG tool.

Me. I have only played a handfull of flashpoints as well and i have 4 level 50s now.

Why? simple, fleet always has like 10-30 people on a good day. Franky when i spamming LFG to the same couple people over and over it gets old quick. I would rather just head out to do the dailies or get into warzones.

lol my server is lucky to see 30 people on the fleet during peek times. I run ops with my guild on my main, but it is virtually impossible to get one for my alt or even to run Hard Mode Flash Points on my main & he is a tank. Nothing like sitting on the fleet with a tank & 2 dps in a group & spending an hour and forty five minutes posting in chat that all you need is a healer for a quick Tarl V hard mode. Personally I can't wait for server transfers & a LFG tool. Wish that junk was cross server though.

Due to the structure of our guild (2-8 man teams running diffferent content independently) and the chaos that is real life, sometimes we do have to recruit PUGS to fill in for ops when the other ops group is already locked out.

Frankly for us I feel it's been quite a boon, often times we get people who've progressed farther than we have to show us the ropes. In other situations we just meet cool new people. And we've recruited a number of new members by picking up someone who turns out to be a good fit.

Get a guild.... Its an mmo. /shrug.

Oh if you dont know what mmo stands for its massive MULTIplayer online. Tha means more than one player. This game is not designed for you to be guildless just like every existing mmo out there.

Been in 2 guilds that just ended up dying... no one logged in. They promised operations, but they came too late after months of me logging on alone. I had faith it would turn around and it never did so I stayed in the guild. I hardly play anymore now. I gave up trying to find a new guild starting out on the operations and at this point its way too late to really find a new upcoming guild full of players new to the operations.

I was hoping the group finder would AT LEAST allow me to do flashpoints and heroics with guildies or PUGs, but I dont even think i'll be subscribing anymore. :-( It's s shame cuz i really love the game too.

You are correct, though i am with guild and still not doing many ops since most guildies have left this game already.

Hopefully after the transfers things will be much better

Champions Online, DFO and COH/COV can be played guildless and those are just the MMO'S I logged in more then months of time in. So there goes your hypothesis.

The story can be played single as well as playing in warzones and joining flashpoints without a guild. There goes your hypothesis again. Co-op is an form or Multi-player BTW

I have never played in an operation until the group finder on the pts.

In a guild, since Day One of Early Access, and we still just now started HMs. No Ops yet.

LFG tool will be handy no matter what.

Since I've rerolled I found a guild who was filled with immigrants like myself, and we are all lvling up roughly at the same rate, so no, no OP's as of yet, but they are coming, I even decided to be a healer so I'll get called to battle a lot.

I've been playing since Early Access. I haven't run any OPs or HMs in that time. I've split my game time this week between TOR and WoW. I've run 3 heroics, 2 LFRs and 1 Normal 10Man in WoW in that time. It was refreshing to actually have some massive multiplayer action. I play on a top 10 server here too.

Yep, so do I, err close to. It's not like the people aren't there, plenty of population, but just seems like people are less inclined to PuG here.

Yeah man that is unfortuabate and i feel for you in this case. My comment was aimed more at those who refuse to join a guild and then complain that they have no one to play with because they dont like guilds or socialising.

Due to the lack of people playing and no server merges; I haven't played a single operation, and only two flashpoints (Esseles and Black Talon), I have barely done any heroics.

this is me pretty much , anything now people just want to space bar through it too

I've gotten several pug groups together actually.

It is amazing to me that so many haven't even done operations. Our guild has been doing them every week since launch. I have tried to recruit people and have advertised that we were doing ops, but only a few joined and only a few of them stuck around through all of the content. I think most players are just content with Warzones and leveling alts. Only a small percentage actually try to progress through endgame PVE.

DEAD SERVER!!!

only a dozen to 30 folks on even between 5pm and 10pm (my time), from april to now.

the progression seemed too weird and annoying to follow so i've spent my time gradually leveling alts and pvp'ing. have healed a couple flashpionts in my battlemaster / war hero gear and have been quite capeable even in pvp gear.

when they fix the server thing with merges/transfers and have a LFG tool in i'll put more effort into pve raiding. i guess i was the fool for not pushing 50 in the first 24 hours back in december. i went comfortable pace and leveled a bunch of alts, got a few 50s and have the rest of my toons bewteen 33 and 45. next mmo i play i'll bum rush endgame so i can raid before everyone quits.

live and learn. i guess with wow lasting a billion years i took for granted that it would always be there raiding-wise

There's a LOT more content in this game than the single-character raiders realize. ;)
