divegoonie
The Quest Log has the "Share" button that allows others to take part in your quest; but how is it different than simply sending an "invite" to a person? Is it XP? Being able to take part in dialogues? Or is there no difference at all?
KurganNazzir
The share button is so you can share quests with people in your group if they don't have the quests, that's all.
Eternalnight
The Quest Log has the "Share" button that allows others to take part in your quest; but how is it different than simply sending an "invite" to a person? What's the difference? Well, everything. There are no similarities what so ever. They are completely different things. Is it XP? NO! Being able to take part in dialogues? No! Well there is a difference that when mission is shared to someone he will not be taking part in the dialogue that started the mission, but this is not a difference between sharing and inviting, it is a difference between sharing and everyone taking the quest from the quest giver. Or is there no difference at all? Ok, this question does not even make sense. You can't compare them. They belong to entirely and completely to a different category. When you invite someone it will let someone who is not in a group with to join a group with you. Clicking share does not ever lead into new members joining your group. When you share a mission it allows people who are in a group with you (if and only if they are eligible for it) to get the mission you are on into their mission logs, so that they can do it without having to go the quest giver to get it. Inviting does not ever (by itself) give any mission you have to the people who join, if they are not already on that mission.
