Onomarcos
Or, as a 34/7/0 spe DOT, should i stick to 25% no matter what ? Full BM, WH chest, another WH piece coming, and a choice to make with mods. Edited April 27, 2012 by Onomarcos
Aluvi
Since getting all augmented gear and new WH main hand, I am seeing about 33-34% crit buffed, So I am assuming that we should easily see 30% unbuffed, probably 35-36% buffed.
Moosestick
Unbuffed, 35.25 crit, 72.68 multiplier.
Xerain
IMO 30% force crit for your dots, unbuffed of course, and 70%+ surge. Seems like a good place to be as annihilation marauder.
Dacer
yea 30+ unbuffed i'd still get malace for another 6% if you can get about 30 unbuffed +6 malace + 5% op buff + 15 from juyo stacks. = 56%+ critchance on on bleeds and ~35% for melee attacks. yea i'd stay thats a great place to be as an annhilation marauder. revcrisis
How about diminishing returns on crit? Has this changed after 1.2? I was looking at this http://www.jedilace.com/2012/02/03/calculating-critical-hit-chance/ and it seems like the DR curve is quite steep after around 27,28%. It might be more beneficial to stack power and/or accuracy if the DR hits that hard.
muradi
HAHA! Rev is spot on. Stack crit after 27% and ur pretty much spinning wheels. There's your math, there's your proof. Nice job buddy. No "I think"s "I believe" and "I like"s . Solid proofs; math.

No "I think"s "I believe" and "I like"s . Solid proofs; math. You need to be careful the Red Curve is only showing % from crit rating and not the total % Crit. The DR is starting to grow at about 15% that`s why everybody is talking about 30% Crit as a Goal. 5% Crit chance as Base, 10% from your Main Attribute and 15% from crit rating. Hizoka
Power will always be a greater DPS increase then crit after 25% unbuffed. I would go into all the math as to why, but face it almost no-one will understand it. Power has no diminishing returns, either on the stat itself or as a stat on gear, where as crit is both a terminating stat as well as a stat with diminishing returns.
