  1. The fact that you want predation on a CD make we think you are an anni spec that finds arenas really hard to deal with. That's a really really aweful idea. Worst I have every seen suggested for marauders. You can get 30 stacks very really quickly. If you spec brooding you can still Pop predation and and bersker at the start.
  2. If you aren't fighting in an arena combat will drop and ou can use your healing resource channel ability to heal up. Nothing new. You can do so an in war zones as well. Just because he pulled out one of the cartel "toys" to do so while out of combat doesn't make it a bug or an exploit
  3. Yea it looks like it's almost recalculated continuously - giving a really aweful diminishing return instead of what had been stated as - you have X% you go X% faster. Even with my 34% when beserk I get a 2.2 second ravage. When it should be 1.94 seconds as that would be 34% faster than the 3 second channel of ravage.
  4. Which is pretty clear. Why people seem to think they are being bolstered with main stat or poweris beyond me - then complain about HP loss.
  5. Priority outside of a berserk should be a blast and throw in the gore window. carnage PVP isn't in my opinion about running a rotation it's about priority. If I can get a gore ravage in because I need immobilze someone then I do it. But if I'm waiting on CDs and ravage is the only thing ready - I use it. In my opinion, the spec is less based on the previous gore- ravage- scream. And more on blast and throw. That said we have a number of burst options. 1: Gore-blast-throw of course you want to get an execute proc up first. 2: gore-ravage only cost 1 rage so it works great, but I nirmally only do this if someone is already stunned. Because at the start of an Arena they can simply KB you. 3: berserk - gore - ravage - blast - throw . The throw won't make the gore window but if you haven't ravaged yet you'll get the auto crit from the set bonus. If get the whole thing off it hits realllly hard. And with blast and throw being 10m it's easy to get it in. 4: breaker - gore - massacre spam. I find that I am often swimming in rage in WZs so I situationally throw that in. For PvP - especially arenas I often forego using beserk more than once for the option of keeping predation up for my team. It gives my team mobility and a 10% defense buff.
  6. I'm not seeing the hugh nerf that you are it seems. Did you lvl to 60? I just did 900k in a warzone. That said there are a couple things I would like to see changed. I, like everyone else, want to see our healing debuff/slow put back into a throw instead of a 4m melee.
  7. It really isn't that bad. Would I Like some changed? a couple would be nice but with the set bonus you can get a nasty burst window in. But you have to know how to do it. It still flows much better than what fury or anni does - I still like it. To the OP if you are feeling really weak and you were lvl to 55 at the lunch of early access - Unless you were running around in greens - you were doing something wrong. I had no problems. IT was stated that while the damage was brought down - they also made mobs while lvling weaker as well. I suspect this effects sub 55 more than 55-60.
  8. First, do you know what a paragraph is? Secondly, I haven't really see any one hacking in the server. Predation buff is not speed hacking. 99% of the time people think that it is. Devastating blast hitting for 20k? - I don't think so. Bloster does indeed need some working on. Roots and slows are not stuns. Roots, slows, mezzes/sleep/blinds, and stuns are all completely different classes of CC. The latter two classes build resolve. The first two do not.

    Saw a sniper get a 19500 hit a couple days ago. I can only assume the guy he hit had very low expertise.

  12. News flash - fresh on the holonet. PvP isn't balanced for sub 60 PVP. Sub 60 pvp is about lvling, and getting practice for when it counts slightly more at Max lvl. Having brackets would dramatically lengthen que times for people wanting to practice and gain xp from WZs.
  13. I'm just flat out sad about the changes. the change of gore in the last couple days feels like it was a punishment for questioning their wisdom of putting it on the GCD. They take rupture away saying they are buffing gore damage to compensate, then remove gore damage and give it a 3s duration - down from its effective 4.5 duration even when it was on the GCD. Its a slap in the face.

The point of being against a 3 second gore - outside of lag and all the other reasons only having it up for 3s sucks - is that our burst is seriously hurt by that from what I can tell. 3s is a ravage OR a scream/throw - no more getting a scream/throw in at the end. That right there is seriously a big deal. And ravage might be on a lower CD so PvE will be find but in PVP - lowering the cool down time doesn't allow me to burst down a more moble healer it or an assassin running in circles stunning everyone. Reduced ravage damage, shorter gore window = less burst. Burst is the reason to play carnage. If the fury spec does it better then why play carnage anymore? I personally love how carnage combat flows - the other specs feel disjointed in their rotations. But if the other are better. I'll play what gives me the competitive advantage.
  15. ...3 seconds. So you basically can only ravage OR force scream/throw and if you get knocked back, you don't even have time to at least get a scream or throw in. And its on a full 15 second CD now.... awful. That drops down the burst significantly if you can add in a scream on the end of a ravage. And its stupid. The days of a Marauder being about to 1 shot someone with a ravage/forcescream gore window have been gone for a long time - this is nothing but a punishment for complaining about their awesome nerfs.

  17. I did see on one skill - i'll have to look at what. That it applies a 20% debuff to armor rating for 15s.
  18. I spent the last 18+ month away from the game. And from all the changes I've seen done to the other classes it looks like pipeline for dev changes for all the complaints people had with marauders in the first 6 months of the game are finally coming through.. with everyone else getting buffed up on mobility and anti melee abilities. and the Marauder being left behind.
  19. I could be okay with the loss of a ranged root of undying rage also had CC immunity. It's a just before death skill and it backs stabs you at the end. Giving CC immunity on undying would be fitting it think. It's 4 seconds. Immunity from knockback for 3 seconds after a force leap/charge The loss of the throw would e fair trade if we had the above. It would be even better if we could use all our DCDs while stunned - including camo.

  21. I've never been so disappointed over class changes in all my time playing MMOs. As a carnage marauder Im losing 3 abilites and what seems to be a lot of my anti kiting ability a 4m slow wheri have to waste 3 seconds to get a roots for 3 seconds. I've already been knocked back stunned or rooted/slowed myself a 4m slow doesn't help me. If My favorite class and spec are going to be nerfed into being a frustrating mess in pvp - not sure I'll want to play this game anymore. I'll wait and see since I've already pre ordered but everything I read looks aweful for carnage
  22. Looks to me that carnage marauders are going to be dead in pvp. Its going to be anni or rage(fury). Unless the new force scream replacement deals a lot more base damage. Instead of combining deadly throw into crippling slash it should be the reverse - with a utility or something to spec deadly throw into a root. Losing a 10m ability to root a target for carnage is huge. Now you have to use 3 seconds to apply a root that only lasts 3 seconds. Let's hope it does damage on par with massacre at the same time - but it won't. If I remember correctly gore was on the GDC at release with a 6 second duration and then got changed pretty quickly to its current 4.5 seconds and off the GCD to improve the class. Depending on how the while alacrity works out I see that as big nerf to carnage burst. Looks like whatever Devs that use to like the marauder class have left the building or rerolled madness assassins
  23. Actually As someone who Ques Solo 90% of the time when getting my weekly/daily done I was completely unaware that premade groups in Warzones were ruining pvp. I win ATLEAST every other match... and I get put up against and with premades just like everyone else.
