I didn't pay much attention then I noticed "Hey! he's wearing the same outfit as me, that's so cool......hey wait a, what the fff..." It was a scoundrel on the imp side!!! The other Scoundrel is Republic - in your screenshot he has the little republic logo. The reason has already been posted in this thread. Huttball allows teams from the same faction to play each other. That was done on purpose, and they're expanding it to other warzones in patch 1.2.
