"Best Spec's" can be a bit convoluted as everybody has an opinion. If you are looking for highest burst, a Pyro build variant is one you want. If you want to have mediocre tanking but mainly have the ability to Guard a healer (Which long term can be very beneficial) a shield or shield hybrid is the way to go. If you want some more abilities that can be helpful (shorter quell cooldown, grapple cooldown, etc etc) specing partially up the AP tree would be the way to go. We are a VERY versatile class.
