I have never seen the community as a whole in agreement over any other topic like I have with the overpowered state of Mercs and Commandos.

I forgot to include in the original message that this was a merc healer. Not that it matters, as, from what I understand, arsenal mercs are getting self heals for up to 100k.

And he literally didn't lose any hp. None. I don't even... So my friend and I queue'd in together with our stealthies to do some lolyougotburstedbye. We found a Merc all alone running to a node in Odessan, so we engaged on him at the same time with our burst rotations, and he literally didn't lose any HP. He stood still and face tanked us for a good 8 seconds until a teammate came and helped him. This experience single-handed just caused both of us to unsub. I've seen on the forums people complaining about Mercs, but let's face it, people have been complaining about a certain class since this game launched (nerf ops pls). I did not think it was as bad as people were saying, but it really is. The game's pvp is just broken beyond repair, and, sadly, is the last nail in the coffin for this game.

It actually helps for knowing whats on your own team, too.

For anyone who is keeping their eye on the changes made to Operative but may be unsubbed, rest assured that the new Noxious Knives ability is functionally, cosmetically, and over all much better than carbine burst, and after playing a few warzones, I'm convinced that it can be used for reliable dot spread.

THEY LISTENED!!!! Seriously, though, I've been unsubbed but keeping my eye on the changes made to Lethality (it's my all-time favorite spec in the game), and what I saw was enough to convince me to log in and try it in a warzone. The changes are fantastic. Noxiosu Knives is a hundred, thousand, million times better than Carbine Burst. It still doesn't function flawlessly, and is still a bit clumsy, but it is WAAAAY better and can actually be relied on for spread. Cheers.

Give me a break. Seriously, just give me a break already. Why has this not been addressed?? How long does an awful decision have to stick around in this game? Carbine Burst is 100% undeniably the single worst ability in our entire kit, yet is given the responsibility of one of the most crucial aspects of the spec. No ground effect, no radius detection, nothing. It's literally an unusable skill. Why has this not been addressed and changed already? The other DoT specs are superior ONLY because of their ability to spread. I have to waste an extra 4-5 GCDs just to get my dart on people. It's so clunky and underthought that it makes my head spin. Either give carbine burst a ground effect and let us choose where where to place it, just like the merc spammable aoe, or make Frag grenade spread dart, problem solved. It's that easy.

Not trying to be mean, but this is a horrific example of how to play Lethality. You cull the guy after he evasions without re-applying your DoTs about 6 times...........

So, basically, even at 105% accuracy, you're going to miss against a DCD anyways, and against someone that doesn't have a DCD up, you're going to hit them regardless with 101%.

Looking to see if any calculator nerds have crunched any numbers regarding accuracy in PvP, specifically whether it is worth investing in some or not. Also looking for anecdotal evidence on both sides of the fence. My general impression is that a lot of classes get defense chance buffs/passives, thus making it a good idea to pick up 105%, but, quite frankly, I'm unfamiliar with how the stat works in its current rendition. Let me know what you nerds think.

It's backloaded burst, and should be played as such. IF one expects to do tons of instaburst on lethality, then one is playing the spec incorrectly. Lethality is all about pressure and offheals.

Wait. Did you link your rating you achieved against not playing good players as proof that you played against good players? I'm struggling with your logic, mostly because it is so ill founded and rudimentary that my double college degree mind simply cannot devolve to such extreme depths.

The fact that I only cared to stay for two matches is a testament to how insignificant this game is and always will be. I probably wouldn't excel into top 3 ranking of this game because, well, I just don't care. I'm happy to see that a handful of people still REALLY care about their standing inside of this game. It's good to be passionate about something, however fail it might be. Just know that you handful of people pale in comparison to the skill that once inhabited this game.

At least their Pts dont run alacrity loaded gear. Step 1: "This is 3.0, alacrity is a good stat for PTs now." --Squarebox/Icarfy 2015 Step 2: Two days later, you get rekt n general (and in PVP, as usual) for running alacrity. Step 3: The next day, all alacrity was removed from your gear. Step 4: Profit.

Are you citing a character's ranking who clearly just admitted that a. ranked is completely and utterly broken, and b. does not participate in ranked? And did you just pull the 1v1 me, bro? Is this really all this game has left to offer? For someone who has yet to break #5 ranked in such an easy game, you sure do type a lot. Maybe if you load up your keyboard with alacrity like you do your powertechs, you could insult better. You have two different max geared powertechs, and are still sub-par at the class, neither have seen the inside of top 5 ranking.
