I dont care for the colour, the boots or the giant plate lodged into my shoulder... but havent yet found another heavy armour set that I like. Maybe once the social and legacy gear becomes adaptable and auggable... the renowned stuff for guardians is pretty cute I think. This is especially likely because we all know that bw absolutely refuses to allow hood down bp's for jedi into the game. All the good armors sents have are trumped by the Guardians in terms of looks and I love the heavy armor look as well, but really love dual wielding and the sent's PVE gear is a bit more detailed. I've been playing with a few different looks and aesthetically try to stay away from the 'cheese-graters-on-my-shoulders' look. Seeing alot of awesome looking guardians ITT. Here a a few loks I've come up with that I really like: Here's my day-to-day gear; it's a plain ole lvl 15 aspiring knight's vest with columi upgrades and a str aug, with the smuggler's hat (also columi guts and str aug) with pretty much black hole everything else (except the jedi battlelord boots with BH guts cause the BH gear for jedi (other than the greaves) is just horrible looking), it's my space cowboy lol and my favorite look heh. I run HMFPs in this and generally outdmg alot of the sents I run with (specced vigilance and know my best rotation) http://imageshack.us/f/41/screenshot2012082812325.jpg/ (note to the devs, please make this chest as an orange heavy armor or tython social gear cause it is awesome) This is my raid gear, Tionese chest with BH mods (I hate looking like every other guardian on the server).
