harpoon is so much fun in huttball

It's much faster to score for those who can run...or leap...as opposed to walking.

 

Tactics is a great spec to throw to near the last fire though, just pop HtL and watch em try to chain leap to root you. Most teams tend to panic and use two stuns in a row, so I'll be immune by the time I get past the second fire.

harpoon is great when it works, so is the cryo grenade, when that actually works too. Harpoon is very temperamental, even when target is not shielded in anyway and in line of sight it still fails often. Cryo grenade is also pants compared to other classes cc as more often than not it doe snot home in well enough to affect the target.

The only time harpoon does not work, is if the target has resolve going, or has the buff up that protects the target from movement impairing effects, knockdowns and physics.

I had an awesome harpoon moment earlier tonight.

 

I was at the bottom of the enemy middle ramp. They'd just recovered the ball and were moving as a mob around to the side. I started running after them, tabbing frantically to get the ball carrier targeted. Just as I did, someone used an AOE knockback...

 

... and I landed right in the middle off the acid. Harpoon, Cryo Grenade. We died together gloriously.

Just don't misjudge how soon the fire trap's about to go off and kill yourself pulling someone into it.

 

I've never done that. Really.

Best ability on any AC ive seen so far tbh :D

 

A great tool to make yourself some Impmallows on the burners.

Pulling the ball carrier away from the ramp his 7 man escort is standing on.

Cryo nade then harpoon a sniper whos trying to hide behind cover.

Pulling a receiver out of your teams endzone when the enemy carrier is about to pass the ball. (managed to do that once in the last minute of a tied game once, the enemy ball carrier was just coming of the ramp. He was about to get slaughtered and jsut managed to throw ball before he snuffed it. only to find his receiver beeing pulled out and the ball beeing fumbled :D )

Giving imps a much needed acid bath.

 

oh man i think i can go on for hours, to think what you can do with this brilliant tool :D

I do just that if it will give my team control of the ball.

 

I typically pull them into fire, then cyro after awhile if they had full health, them storm to someone closer to the goal. I'll score in 2 moves like that.
