Coverley
Anyone else's game crashing after installing these? - Wondering if it's a coincidence or it's the drivers. ** 296.10 ** Edited March 13, 2012 by Coverley
Wicari
NVidia doesn't like Star Wars. The put the drivers out to crash the game. - Just a thought.

CeruleanNite
I also am running 295.73 with no issues. I have noticed that sometimes Nvidia releases drivers to fast and they have issues. I havent checked on the Nvidia forums yet but this could be the case with the 296.10 drivers.

Kabaal
Still running the 285.62 driver and have no problems, haven't updated as the newer ones have made no mention of TOR and i don't currently have Skyrim installed. Do the notes with the driver mention ToR in them? No and neither do any of the others. Edited March 13, 2012 by Kabaal

CeruleanNite
People are reporting issues with this driver on the Nvidia site. So at this time I would say use with caution.

Quinlynn
If you want to make sure you have the best driver, then uninstall and only load the ones that are Microsoft Certified. I did this back in Dec. and have had zero issues. IMHO
Srqt
I'm running 295.73 with no issues currently. Funny 295.73 gave me nothing but issues. Maybe it was a bad install might give it another shot.
monkgryphon
nVidia has been having a huge growing problem over the past few years... well really since Vista came out. The TDR issue with newer Windows OS just doesn't seem to get fixed. I actually bought an AMD card after much dismay with trying to get my not even 1 year old nvidia GPU to work without issue. Jett-Rinn
Anyone else's game crashing after installing these? - Wondering if it's a coincidence or it's the drivers. ** 296.10 ** Nope...but I have noticed that Nvidia 3D vision looks about 40% more awesome. Technotaoist
Updated to the 296.10 drivers and have been unable to get into the game since. I get the launch screen, then it reloads that at a different resolution, then I get a windows dialog that the game has stopped functioning. Orlacc
I hope everyone is making sure to uninstall the previous drivers before installing the new one. Otherwise you WILL crash.
lollie
I hope everyone is making sure to uninstall the previous drivers before installing the new one. Otherwise you WILL crash. Nvidia install does that for you.
savagepotato
I hope everyone is making sure to uninstall the previous drivers before installing the new one. Otherwise you WILL crash. Too bad nvidia forces you away from doing that with their architecture. If you manually remove their drivers you are forced to reboot your system three times just to uninstall each package, then go run a driver cleaner in safe mode, then reinstall. For whatever reason in their wisdom they decided to build the rapid uninstall feature into the driver package as a checkbox option that wipes the old driver first, and immediately installs the new one, preventing you from using a driver cleaner. I find it extremely frustrating. Edited March 16, 2012 by savagepotato
OmegaMayhem
Nvidia install does that for you. Yep, in the setup you can click a box to choose to perform a clean install, which clears out all old drivers. Worked like a charm for me.
