Just hit 50 and need help for a PvP Build

Greetings my comrades of the empire. I just hit level 50 and have used the hybrid Madness-Lightning spec for 40 levels: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#201ZbsMMdZcrcRsMkrc.1

 

I've seen the guides stickied but they are ancient. I would like for some new thoughts and replies on your playstyle/build. Is my current build PvP worthy or just for PvE as I had intended it to be? How are pure skill point sorcerers doing now? Such as 100% lightning or etc..? I'd like to know how the maximum talent skills perform and if anyone of them is worth it.

 

Please reply and assist me... I would be most grateful for any help whatsoever.

The points in Electric Induction are a complete waste, Convection>>>>>>Electric Induction, ESPECIALLY in PvE

Yeah, I know I accidentally clicked that instead of convection.

 

So what do you think about my current build or what I should alter?

The current spec you run is very good at using a LOT of control during PvP. If you wish to do PvE, the 0/13/28 build is superior in pure damage.

It does, just wanting to hear other peoples current thoughts on builds.

 

especially the full skill page builds such as all the way in madness or lightning...

This after a million credits is my favorite build for both pve and pvp.

If you look at the abilities and what they do from both trees you will notice one from one tree compliments another. I also, like have the Whirlwind ability for HMs and WZs. Being able to CC mobs in a HM instantly has bailed my group out time after time. It also works well in pvp when someone gets in a hazard, thus allowing the environment to make the kill for me.

 

This build recovers and reduces force costs, allowing me to use chain lightning back to back and stack crushing darkness instantly.

For PvP I'd go with

Reason being you really want Backlash and Haunted Dreams so you can protect yourself and eliminate an opponent.

 

To avoid being targeted all the time I'd reduce the spamming of Force Lightning for when you want to trigger a instant cast of Crushing Darkness or Chain Lightning. So Affliction, Shock, Death field make up the remainder of your attacks when not cc'ing, popping your shield, sprinting away from a marauder etc. hence the extra points into madness.

edit :: well.. I didn't try it yet but maybe 31 madness can compensate for not having electric bindings. now I'm gonna have to try it, dangit!

0/13/28 is the spec I PvP with, I make do fine without electric bindings, the vanilla slow+knockback+WW+Stun (Not all at the same time, but spread out) is enough to kite anyone, Binding is overkill if you use everything right.

When I play with this healer hybrid spec I typically finish 200-300k healing and 180-200k dmg. It's very effective and most of the healing goes to other players so I definitely end up winning more often.

 

With my DPS hybrid spec I can break 400k dmg pretty easily and finish with 100k+ healing, but that's almost entirely healing myself and I seem to lose more.

 

I prefer the hybrid healing spec when playing with good players and guildies as we can almost guarentee an easy win.

Best over all PVP and PVE go with Hybrid 0/13/28 this spec is what im using.. im alway 95% 1st or top 3 in wz. my damages are usually in 300k-400k this spec has so much mobility.. and does huge amount of damage.. im fully Champ geared.

 

in hutt ball, or any other wz.. u just dot them up and do ur skills. and when wrath proc u just use chain lightning..
