LOL! For science! I may have to go down to Cold Rock Ice Creamery tomorrow on my lunch break and do some of my own research, for science. Yes, that's it - science.

 

just don't overdo it! my gutt is letting me know all about that " too much of a good thing" issue

 

.... it was for a good cause tho. the saccrafice was worth it.

I haven't dealt with the Cathar myself, but from what I've seen on my male Trooper I have some suspicions as to his style...so here, from a femTrooper's perspective:

 

Kitty cat, kitty cat, sittin' in the - ow!

What the hell was that for? Yeah, I'm teasing you. (Me-ow.)

- Bloody hell, Lieutenant, quit it!

Or do the other kind of "hit it."

How a guy who fires ion charges twice the speed of sound

Can drag his feet so horribly when ladies come around

Lol! Love it! He does have a way of taking orders without losing his "I'm in charge" attitude. And teasing him is a lot of fun cause he either scowls at you or hits you right back. Dang, now I need to go play my 2nd trooper....

Okay, I just came out of an hour of - I kid you not - a meeting on some other team's difficulty in bounding the parameter optimization of a pulse phasing linearity problem. Believe me, even when it makes sense it's boring. The only thing that kept me awake was...well, here, have some more odes to our male companions! No plot spoilers, but I use the tags because this post is getting silly long.

 

Guss Tuno (whom I would totally flirt with just for the bashful-awkward factor):

I can't neglect Vector. Both he and Scourge almost merit some classy formal structure, like villanelles or sonnets or especially clever limericks, but here's what I've got for now:

 

I'd love to see your resume:

The remaining two romanceable men I've personally met. No spoilers in either one.

 

Corso:

Well, Ord Mantell was just a job.

and Doc, who spent a solid 48 hours percolating in the back of my mind before I could find a start for this:

Sexiest looking is Malavai. That face is gorgeous. I've made a few male characters with it :) Props to the artist.

 

Most interesting and fulfilling is Vector. He's so strange and mysterious. I started very dark on my IA and he made me change my ways. When he complained at me that killing people without mercy "wasn't in harmony with the song of the universe" or something like that.... my IA was so ashamed of herself. :o His voice actor is also amazing.

 

Torian is a joke, he sounds like he's going to bust into tears at all times and with that Beiber 'do...... no thanks. I feel like a pedo.

 

Corso's accent is terrible. I'm from Tennessee so he feels like a mean caricature. His customizations aren't good either. And my god just have sex with me already you freaking puritan. I'm really not going to beg. I sexed up men on every planet just to spite him. :rak_03:

 

Andronikos and Doc are just so roll your eyes corny I couldn't take them seriously.

No kidding! I remember the "not in harmony" line from a certain very irritating plot sequence. I kill a guy, Vector says that, and I immediately repented. What the hell, man? I'm trying to have an edgy desperate psychological breakdown here! Stop grabbing me by the heartstrings and ordering me to be nice again! ...*sigh*...I'll be harmonious. For you, I will.*

 

* This is a dirty lie. I brought out Kaliyo and continued my rampage. But Vector genuinely made me feel bad.

 

As for Malavai's face...he's a good-looking guy, no doubt, but I find it hilarious that he uses no more than 30% of all possible facial animations. When I meet other NPCs with that face they keep showing emotion that Quinn is just entirely incapable of. His unvarying scowl-neutral-scowl rotation is perversely endearing.

Scourge:

Khem Val:

His arrogance ranks next to mine

His power's close, it's true.

 

I beat him. I demand respect.

And with that, I'm tapped out! That's all the male companions I am or was fond of: Quinn, Talos, Jorgan, Guss, Andronikos, Pierce, Vector, Corso, Doc, Scourge, Khem Val.

 

Now that I look at it, I realize I've run only one of these romances to completion. Love's a funny thing. :rolleyes:
