Roodys
and that is if both the republic & imperial empire argee to exterminate the Jedi and the sith, if the sith are gone the empire will be free from corruption thus would have no reason to go to war with the repulic and could concentrate on other ways of expanding other then conquering. If the jedi are gone there can be no more sith and would have no more reason to go to war with the empire. If not the endless cycle of jedi and sith balancing act will tear the local galaxies dragging everyone in to a war that can destroy planets, it would only take a few tenthousand years before most of the local planets would be wiped out from the jedi sith war. thoughts? Not really. See, without the Jedi and Sith there are still force sensitives. Someone will still learn to use the force and if this person becomes powerful and ends up on the dark side with no Jedi to stop him. What will happen to the galaxy then? The Empire will never throw away it's force sensitives because the Sith control them so totally. They simply can't in most cases turn on the Sith. Usually a Sith Emperor can manipulate the minds of millions. The power to manipulate and mold that many lines is why when the Sith are wiped out and return they gather up a new army relatively quickly. No Jedi simply means the Sith or a dark side user wins. Bielduwyn
I don't think the Republic would ever authorise a genocide, let alone of its brave defenders. =p
Rayla_Felana
I don't think the Republic would ever authorise a genocide, let alone of its brave defenders. =p *cough* Korriban and Ziost *Cough* Also, in the game, there are many Republican extremists that want to end the war and their affiliation with the Jedi Order. Virtus-Kerensky
Funny thing is that very theory was brought up in the game for the Imperial Agents Story line. * Spoiler Alert * The Agent meets up with a secret society of the most intelligent beings from across the galaxy called the "Star Cabal" They been in hiding for 1000 years since the great Hyper Space war. They ultimate goal was to get both Jedi and Sith to fight all out against each other until they could swoop in and destroy both groups. Thus eliminating both the Jedi and Sith organizations from the galaxy and allowing normal non-force sensitives to rule and control the galaxy. And they would have gotten away with it too. If it was for my meddlesome Agent. :
Melaugh
im sorry but last time i checked that by the end of episode VI the sith are defeated the jedi survive and the republic is born once more from the ashes of the empire, so why risk that future for the unknown that you propose. not to mention force sensitive people would continue to be born and some would eventually train themselves and then others thus making your suggestion completely pointless and wrong. SDFX
The war will never end in Star WARS because we wouldn't have as many fun action stories to play and it wouldn't be Star WARS anymore.
