You can't buy a rig that costs 300-400 that will run anything, that's a dumb myth people who haven't got the slightest about computers create.

You could run everything on a system worth 600, but you would have to rebut that system every year.

you can buy nice Dell XPS from their outlet, with 20% off coupon a decent PC with legit win7 8gb of ram and i7 cpu will cost you $500, spend another $100 on video card (gts 450 will run it better than theoretically much faster radeons, just because it's an EA game, and they have nvidia preference coded in)

It definitively has something to do with the combination of equipment. I have a low to mid build and fortunately the game runs smoothly for me at 1920 x 1200 Max settings . No overclocking. Live in Ontario Canada and Bell is my ISP. Basic High Speed Package. Dedicated GPU is key though.

Skyrim runs excellent at High+ settings ...but the diablo III beta had issues. the game would run smoothly but every time one of those fat creatures was about to explode the frame rate would drop to 2 or lower.

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 (Conroe)

Gigabyte 965P-DS3 Motherboard

4 GIG DDR2 Ram

ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GIG (Drivers - 2011.1118.1702.30493)

This is an arrogant and self centered post.

Simply some ppl dont have enough money to afford i7 with 6970 and 16gb ddr3 memories with 200GB SSD.

Deal with it.

And you don't need anything even close to that to run this game maxed out even if it had all the bells and whistle like DX11, AA, etc., ( or any other game in existence for that matter ), so your point is?

I just can't comprehend how in this day and age where i could buy a laptop for like 200-300 that could run the game on max settings that people still have computer from 1990 that get low fps still on low settings? i know everyone doesn't have money but somewhere within the 20 year span of having your computer surely saving 1 dollar a day could afford enough for a computer not still on DOS

Edit: some people are neglecting the fact i said low FPS on LOW settings , how you can possibly have a machine that old is beyond me any computer made within like 6 years would be able to run swtor fine

Edit: If you are gaming on a laptop in the first place what is wrong with you??

Give me a site in holland that sells a laptop/PC that can run this game on max for 300. I dare you. I know you can't.

thre goes your complete topic.

And used government money to help him build that awesome machine. Remember he said the Australian government gives them money to care for their children. Here in the US that is called Welfare.

You are simply ignorant.

I can't speak for australia, but in Sweden there's a similar thing, which is a gov. grant (for lack of a better term) that everyone get that has a child. It's no sum (it's like $120 a month until the kid turns 18) you get rich off, but it's merely a bit of aid. The glory of socialism, yes?

Sorry cupcake but.. you are still a child. You have adult responsibilities and refuse to step up to the plate and accept them. Until you do, you will always be a child.

:sy_lightside:

Not that there's anything wrong with being a child, but... dear OP: No. Just no. It's great that you (OP) can offer your kids the presence of an extended family, something very rare in this day and age in western society, and I certainly understand the long-term positive impact of social benefits despite the immediate strain it places on social economy so I have no interest in judging you on that account... but for your kids' sake, I should hope they will in turn take their attitude toward life after their grandparents, and NOT you.
