If BioWare get everyone in by tomorrow...

Negative. The damage has already been done. By the time some of us get in, there will already be quite a few high level players with pvp and economic advantages already.

Even better, there have been that many people allowed to horde up 8 character names each, leaving the rest of us with choices like "scumbagsteveoioioioi".

We all paid the same $5 pre-order fee. Is it not reasonable to expect the same benefits? If anything at all, people with the more expensive versions of the game should have gotten added bonuses (not me for the record).

Oh well, lesson learned, don't pre-order from EA/BW. EA fooled me on BF3 too so I really shouldnt be surprised.

No, it's not reasonable to expect the same benefits when it was very clear that those pre-ordering sooner would get more access.

And the damage has NOT been done. There are tons of people in-game having fun, and less and less QQ on the forums. In a couple of days it will all be forgotten. Maybe not by the serial complainers, but then again, no matter how BioWare handled it, they would complain anyway.

If ends up being true, and they let everyone in tommorrow and all goes smoothly it will be the best launch of any mmo ive seen... Letting everyone have the full 5 days of ega would be awesome.. Its a rare thing nowadays for a game developer to do what they promised and not use shady schemes to get away with murder.

According to official updates in the EGA sticky, plans are for "end of Nov" tomorrow, rest friday. I'm a friday cat, and it's STILL a great rollout in my opinion.

You're right, I sometimes forget how forgiving and forgetful MMO players on the forums are. People will be so amazed at how great the game is that they won't care that their character name was already taken and that most players already have pvp and economic advantages over them. At this point, Id go as far to say that getting EGA now has no benefit over getting access on release day considering there are massive amounts of people with 2 days of time already.

Also, is it really good for EA/BW to have people ALREADY questioning if they want to continue playing this game before it's even off the ground???

The minute the first pre order enetred the game yesterday

7 days became the standard amount of extra game play for a pre order purchase.

hahahaha, please...please stop with the facade.

I think you need to look up the definition, be it colloquial or not, of the word "standard".

The minute the first preorder entered the game, 7 days became the ceiling for amount of extra gameplay. And guess what? Not everyone gets to reach the ceiling. Oh, and you know what else? That was known for about a week, now! Are they wizards?!

And noone is getting less product. They're getting exactly what they've been told, and agreed to upon preordering when they decided to and entering their preorder code.

It's as simple as THAT.

Seriously though, your attempt at extreme verbosity was not lost on my intelligence. You have completely interpreted the world they way you wanted to just now.

They will officially be the gods of MMO launching?

45 New servers have appeared, could it be a sign?

http://www.swtor.com/server-status

Because of the pre-launch Guild System....

.....gonna have queues no matter what.

You got guild members trying to get into the servers they been assigned to and that is going to continue well past the 20th, no matter how many servers they open.

My guild has been assigned to Vornskr, so that is the only server I and all my guild members will be trying to get into. Granted I am now only up to 15 members, there were several that were over 500. What about those that didn't/don't get into EGA and will be joining their friends and family at retail launch? How about those in the EGA that just don't have access yet? Those servers will continue to receive new players daily.

It doesn't matter if there are 50 empty servers, people that are waiting to join their guilds wont use them.

I don't think they thought the guild pre-launch through very well as those players probably should have been allowed earlier access if they wanted to avoid queues. So BioWare saying they want to avoid queues is stupid when you factor in the people in guilds trying to join their companions.

Just something to keep in mind with the queues on the original EGA servers.

you keep using that word, i do not think it means what you think it means.

Top urban dictionary definition (seeing as this is an internet meme...)

n. A personality characteristic found in most males that lead them to:

1. Rush to the aid of any female they see who appears in any form of distress.

2. Become attracted to said damsel in distress.

3. Follow the dying code of chivalry and generally act like a nice guy.

Bioware is not a female, and they do not appear to be in distress.

We are not attracted to bioware.

There is no part of groaning at people with an overdeveloped sense of entitlement who can't read that is part of the chivalry codes of europe.

you pwned him

lmao, really? It means you are a rabid "insert company" fanboy in internet lingo.

No, it means to want to take up for a camwhore - as described by that gentleman.

I'm sorry, but you're 12 and, though here is where I say welcome to the internet, I will postpone that a second to say the world does not change because you want it to.

Welcome to the internet.

BW did right despite what whiners were saying 2 days ago. Here's why: The elitists and those that preordered in July who "deserved" ::cough:: to be in on day one got their one single day of elitism. Day two gave those who preordered in the gap, in the lonely times. Day three will bring everyone up to speed, will end the complaining about xp hacks and 5 days early access and everyone will stop saying this is the worse launch ever when it clearly was planned this way with great success.

um... 4gb ddr3 memory cpu g620 windows7 premium 64-bit intel hd graphics 500gb harddrive internal webcam internal speakers wireless keyboard/mouse 23' mutimedia touch monitor with full hd 1080p

There you go, your using a Intel HD graphics card, that is a integrated GPU, those things are not for video games, that will make the game lag horribly for you.

Also your CPU is a Pentium dual core.

You are using a very old computer technology wise. That is not for gaming.

That would be an heroic effort. That would mean everybody got at least the original 5 days of EGA -- which Bioware has never promised and truly has no obligation to even try to accomplish. If that happens, anyone who complained about EGA should feel incredibly sheepish if they are a half-way decent human being. They should be made to do the laundry for Bioware employees for the whole 2012 to make up for their insanity over the last couple days. Even if everyone gets in by Friday, that's excellent.

^QFTW Excellent!!:D

According to my math they have given just under 500,000 of all pre-orders EGA already. Approximately 100,000 were given EGA on day 1 and approximately 400,000 received EGA on day 2. This means just under half of all pre-orders have already been given EGA.

EGA - Day 1 Estimated Invite Total = 119,260

07/21/11 - 07/23/11 = 19,324

07/24/11 - 07/30/11 = 99,936

EGA - Day 2 Estimated Invite Total = 344,253

07/31/11 - 08/06/11 = 84,671

08/07/11 - 08/13/11 = 60,993

08/14/11 - 08/20/11 = 36,726

08/21/11 - 08/27/11 = 32,680

08/28/11 - 09/03/11 = 25,452

09/04/11 - 09/10/11 = 26,355

09/11/11 - 09/17/11 = 16,778

09/18/11 - 09/24/11 = 23,221

09/25/11 - 10/01/11 = 37,377

Given that the numbers are not exact I would put the estimate of current EGA players at 463,513. The fact that almost quadruple the amount of players from yesterday were given EGA today makes me almost positive that all pre-order customers will be in by Friday at the latest.

EGA - TBA (to be announced) = 475,845

10/02/11 - 10/08/11 = 54,709

10/09/11 - 10/15/11 = 30,283

10/16/11 - 10/22/11 = 57,573

10/23/11 - 10/29/11 = 48,732

10/30/11 - 11/05/11 = 43,779

11/06/11 - 11/12/11 = 54,543

11/13/11 - 11/19/11 = 72,708

11/20/11 - 11/26/11 = 74,916

11/27/11 - 12/03/11 = 15,734

12/04/11 - 12/10/11 = 22,868
