I'm also not sure if the benefit to shielding is really all that, especially with the lack of good Willpower shields at certain levels. rezantis Posted January 19, 2012 Share Posted January 19, 2012 Do not ever skip kinetic ward, it's a core tanking talent. Even if you only have the base 20% (I think) absorb on your shield, a 15% chance to absorb 20% of damage from an incoming hit is 3% damage mitigation. Quite substantial for one talent point, and it improves dramatically as you scale your shield and absorb ratings. My absorb at the moment is about 40%, so for me it jacks up my shield mitigation from roughly 12% to 18%. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
