ptwonline Posted January 20, 2012 Share Posted January 20, 2012 Hmm, good question. Answer is...maybe. I've been waiting for a good sci-fi MMO and having a story-rich MMO to boot is enticing. However, if it wasn't Star Wars it would likely be some completely unknown IP and without the familiar trappings of a SW univeerse there's no way to know if I would find it compelling or not. Let's face it: a lot of the impact of this game--story, gameplay, and visually--is based on some sentimental value we place on it because we've seen it in the movies, played with the toys, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GetPloughed Posted January 20, 2012 Share Posted January 20, 2012 This being a Star Wars game actually kept me away from it for awhile. It being a BioWare product and Blizzard taking WoW into a direction I want no part of brought me here. I have doubts that I will be staying around after my 60 day prepaid time is up, but that's completely up to BioWare and the direction they want to take this game.
