  1. I believe I got this same mail from him. From all the other dialogue in game, everything with Vowrawn went according to plan but then I got the mail that said we failed there. Hoping all it is, is just a bug that sent out the wrong letter and not something that actually affects the game going foward by thinking I made a decision I didn't make. I was still accepted back into the Dark Council and given my name back by Acina so, I'm leaning towards everything being good.
  2. It is an expansion, perhaps you need to redefine how you view the word expansion. This is a SWTOR expansion, perhaps not as much launch content as others but an expansion is judged on the entire thing and not just launch day. We have a completely reworked gearing system, as well as the start of a new story. I do agree that a roadmap would be nice, it would be nice to know if the follow-up chapter is planned for this year or early next year or if we're looking at 6+ months. I know a lot of people disliked the KotFE expansion but I enjoyed knowing that we were getting a new chapter every month. Better than sitting and waiting and not knowing what's coming.
  3. Is that any different than the numerous other companions that have come back and only a few lines of dialogue?
  4. I don't really see the point in double XP for Onslaught content, we should be hitting 75 around the end of the story, assuming it's all balanced and somebody doesn't go out of their way to do heroic quests or dailies. I'd expect to see double XP again in about a month or so, as there is usually one at the end of November and it will probably go to Christmas-ish, depending on what they have in the pipeline going forward.
  5. I thought it would be later today, like 11:59ish. Glad I bought everything yesterday. Came back with 5k cartel coins, down to 40.
  6. I would assume it would be the regular XP boosts that we would use, also wouldn't surprise me if they don't work above 70 as well.
  7. Spoilers is really the only thing I turn off chat for, it's so annoying to be 5 minutes behind someone who's doing a pbp of everything he's encountering.
  8. I noticed this on my new character that just finished chapter 9 of KotFE. I had the Alliance Alert quest to get Ranos, NIco, and Paxton but no option to recruit Hexid, she had already shown up in the other category in my companion list though. And that was before doing any of the alerts. I assumed at the time, that the Hexid quest just came a bit later, since you don't get every single alert right after chapter 9 finishes.
  9. The reason behind the original force companions being female and a romance option, is because they wanted to give everybody the same thing. A female Jedi padawan. This also plays into the male fantasy of young virgin women that BioWare has used in the past(Liara, Tali, Merrill) These are decisions that were likely made close to a decade ago, by people no longer employed by BioWare. So questioning why it was done that way, will fall on deaf ears because nobody there knows why. Just like they didn't write any scenes for a potential Vette/Risha reunion because the writers forgot that they share a past. Going forward, I am expecting that Scourge returns as a romance option, and Kira will be like Nadia and Jaesa before and be flipped to be romanced by both genders. Now whether or not these are options for everybody or only the Jedi, is the question. I'm really hoping that Scourge is at least Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior because we need to have a conversation between the two Wraths. As for the Ossus story up to 6.0, it would be nice to see some new male force users, but I'm not going to speculate on something so many months away that we know next to nothing about. I'd like to see the Twi'lek major get more content though.
  10. The direction of the game, romance wise is to make the new characters player sexual. You can flirt with the new Twi'lek as a female, and I assume male but not sure. And I don't know much about the republic side but the main characters there are also female. Seems like a few female romances may be coming our way with this story arc. It's nice that they flipped Jaesa and Nadia into being romanced by both genders, same with Khem Val. But with very few companions left to return, I think there are no more than 5 left but with the change to make them only come back to their original classes, I've straight up forgotten about most of them. Kira I would expect to be both genders, Scourge, honestly I don't care if he's romanced, I just want him on my Sith Warrior, I feel that warriors got screwed around with not having Risha be recruitable by them, therefor not having a Risha/Vette reunion but since Vette is also killable, that will never happen anyways, that right there is a real dropped ball by the writing staff. It's like the guys writing the game not haven't even played the game. Enough ranting on that and back to the subject at hand, you take away the vanilla game content and add in everything afterwards, the romances lean more gay than straight, with a gay sith and bi woman on Makeb and everything else being player sexual(unless Arcann is only for the women, I'm not sure) And going forward I expect everything else will be player sexual, and with it seeming like there are more female characters than males being released, I would say you should be quite sated with F/F options in the next expansion/next few patches.
  11. We're still suppose to be part of the Alliance. I would expect that the story to begin in our base before moving onwards to this new chapter.
  12. I highly doubt it, but if so, he still wouldn't be for males or they would have specified that when talking about the same gender options.
  13. I use the Kylo Ren hitting the computer animation one.
  14. Waiting over 20 minutes, help page is completely useless. Had a security key for years but new phone so haven't bothered. But this one-time password system is trash, can I remove it? It benefits nobody, and it's now taken away half my playtime for the night.
  15. Because they're both "good". Other than Rusk who we can say no to but can't kill, all the other alerts that can we refuse entry into the Alliance either by killing or just refusing are "bad". Xalex, Skadge, Broonmark, they're all "bad or "evil". Mako and Spaar are both "good", but they're also both class companions and not alliance alerts, AFAIK there has been no option to not accept any that fall under this umbrella. I main a Sith Warrior, so I don't even know who these people are since they're irrelevant, but pretty sure they all come automatically.
  16. Why would SWTOR get any support? 2017 was as nice as I can be an abysmal year for SWTOR. But yet it has still kept enough players, why would they add support to the game? It doesn't make any sense for BioWare to put anymore people on this game, because this game is still bringing in money even though they are doing nothing with the game. I mean, 3 bosses. in one year, 3 bosses, 12 months, THREE bosses. That is BioWare putting in no effort, they don't care. And the writing on the wall was early too, Ben steps down, Keith steps up for a week or two there is some communication, but when it came down to writing a simple 3 month plan, it was heavily delayed. A 3 month plan that took 3 minutes to write took 3 weeks to come out, and from that point on it got worse. Does anyone really think it will get better? The last companions that came back, were exclusive, not for story reasons because there was no story, but because BioWare didn't want to put any effort. Why bring back Risha who was mentioned in the Sith Warrior story, and played a pretty important role in Vette's history, and not have a reunion? Because either A) They don't care, or B) They forgot about the connection. And even if they did support the game more, after Anthem, which comes out next year. You're going to be looking at what, an eight year old game? SWTOR is never going to be much more than it is now, no matter what they do, there will never be an giant influx of new players, it's going to be us same old guys sitting around waiting for something that will never come. Also, there won't be a BioWare after Anthem. BioWare fans don't want Anthem, and a lesson they should have learned from SWTOR, people don't jump ship and buy new multiplayer games if their friends don't also leave the previous game. And by that I mean, as bad as Destiny is, people are going to continue playing that, or Overwatch, or Call of Duty or any other **** FPS out there over picking up Anthem. Especially since, and I can guarantee this right now, Anthem will get **** reviews from BioWare fans because it's not the game we want.. I personally don't do reviews, but it's pretty easy to see the future in this one. I'd put down more money on Anthem killing BioWare than I would on the Warriors winning the NBA championship this year.
  17. Class specific returning companions is the worst decision you have made going forward. Really making me regret going with 60 days instead of 30 when I resubbed last year. Though I guess I'm very glad that throughout all the ******** BioWare has done over the last few years, you've finally given me a definitive reason to pull the plug.
  18. What is with the class specific returning companions? That to me is the biggest turn off of this update. Why the turn in direction here? They are 99% going to be Alliance Alerts, so the player character isn't even going to be voiced, I really don't understand what they're doing here. It's an extremely poorly thought out decision. We all knew last year when they said they were going to do an OP and split it up that they weren't going to get all the bosses done in time, we all also knew that they weren't going to finish the Theron story. This was something we all knew, but we still subscribed and still played the game. And now they come out and tell us that certain companions are now going to be locked to classes. Just honestly, pull the plug at this stage, if coming up with a few lines of dialogue is too hard, then just end it now.
  19. Canon is such an irrelevant term. Especially when "canon" Star Wars is far worse than Legends Star Wars.
  20. Only the level ones I made on other servers to make sure nothing would happen. Even got some names that were in use on my server by using the boosts on other servers. Finally those useless boosts came in handy.
  21. They should have one for the long weekend coming up. Also double XP.
  22. The Inquisitor doesn't get the tattoos because they're a slave. But this game has been out for over 5 years now, we can play as blind snipers, pureblood smugglers, alien warriors, etc, there is no real reason to not allow all classes to get all customization options at this stage of the game. Before when races were class locked, I can understand lore reasons to not have certain classes wearing certain tattoos that they shouldn't have(the aforementioned slave with a tattoo that I believe signifies a superior bloodline) but now, with all races playing all classes, no reason why not. Maybe with the same restriction that races do have where you need to get level 50 to unlock the race, now you need level 50 with a class to unlock the additional options. Inquisitor gives you slave scars, warrior with the tattoos, bounty hunter with the facepaint and trooper with the tattoos/facepaint(I'm not sure what they are). As for putting them on other species, I'm all for that as well, could even include cybernetics for additional races as well.
  23. Senya, Vaylin, Acina(though there is still hope for this one), Satele. Also would have been nice if the returning companions were options for the other classes, but they were all one chapter wonders, and now many of them can be dead or not recruited so they're unlikely to have any content going forward, romance or not.
  24. There are quite a bit of flirt options with her, it could still be possible, but due to the way Iokath plays out depending on whether you chose republic or Empire, I doubt Acina has anymore than 5 more lines before she's randomly killed off due to "reasons".
