Why my subscription ends on 18th?

Whoops typo; fixed. That's what I get for putting that together in under a minute i guess...

I'm not sure how you're saying that fails at math. If the subscription runs out at midnight on 1/18, then we're being shorted a day; at that point, we wouldn't be getting our 30th day (1/18)

If it runs out at either 11:59:59pm on 1/18, or at midnight on 1/19 then we're getting the correct amount of time.

New day starts at midnight.

I used to work for Adecco, and they made this mistake: Payday was supposed to be friday, but someone set it up to do the direct deposit at Midnight on Thursday... So the direct deposit went in at the 12:00:00 AM immediately after 11:59:59 PM Wednesday instead of the one immediately after 11:59:59 PM Thursday, a full 24 hours early.

And his math is right, it's the difference between inclusive and exclusive number ranges.

As an example, 19-10 = 9, but if you start counting at Jan 10th and then go to Jan 19th, you'll end up at 10, not 9.

Dec 20th to Dec 31st inclusive is 12 days.

Basically what you're getting is that it goes through Jan 18th, which means that it ends as soon as it ticks over to the 19th... which is the 12:00:00 AM immediately after 11:59:59 PM on Jan 18th. if it goes after the 11:59:59pm on Jan 17th, then they did short you a day.

You shouldn't see it shift again though, because by law recurring credit card charges for 1 month have to happen on the same date each month.

No one is subbed. That starts the 19th. Running out of nothing isn't something.
semantics. And untrue. I'm subscribed: "You are subscribed to a 30 day recurring plan."

The free 30 days is treated like a sub by the system. If it runs out before midnight on the 19th, people are being shorted part of their 30 free days.

GUYS.

Stop and think about what you are complaining about here. Let's say, for arguments sake, you are right and being "cheated" out of a day of play. Even at FULL price, $14.99 per 30 days, we are talking about:

Wait for it....

Wait for it.......

$0.50c

Yes, you are making a stink over 50c. Now, I don't care how much you make or who you are, .50 doesn't matter. You probably have more than that between your couch cushions.

Wasn't the release date on December 20th?

Yes i registered the key earlier, but then i was still playing on "pre early access" which was supposed to be free.

Another BW's fail?

If you plan on leaving when the first 30 days are up anyway, why do you care?

If I'd already decided that I wasn't going to continue playing, I would have stopped playing, since it would be pointless.

Just wondering.

You're leaving anyway so who gives a crap? Geez, when I quit, my last day playing is the day I cancel. If you're so obsessed with the exact day you can't log in, maybe you shouldn't really be quitting?

I was just thinking the same thing. "Man, this game sucks and I'm not going to play it anymore...after the 18th, that is."
