Question about our snare(s)

I notice we have 2 snares.

 

1 in the Shield Tech Tree - Neurel Overload which procs off Ion Gas Cylinder and the other:

 

Sweltering Heat in the Pyrotech line that procs off Combustible Gas Cylinder.

 

Question:

 

Does one proc more or is easier to trigger than the other?

Both our snares look to be built with specific purposes.

 

The ST snare is to allow you to maintain pressure on your target in melee range, with Jet charge and its talented speed boost as a closer.

 

The Pyro snare on the other hand looks to be designed more for melee kiting, linked into our Pyro spam skill Flameburst, consistently slowing your target to maintain that 4m - 10m range just out of melee range and allowing you to hit with instant ranged attacks.

 

TL, DR;

 

Pyro snare is easier. it's on a spammable high dmg attack which works really well with the spec design.

So in looking at the Pyro tree - I'm assuming that you need to take Superheated Gas and Rail to ensure the snare is always "proccing"?
