Get back to me when you have an actual reason.
How about I want you to know your class if I’m stuck being grouped with you.

AC isn’t a spec, it’s a class.

Actually, AC stands for “Advanced Class”

I would however be cool with an AC reclass if it costs 1 million credits and drops you to lvl 10.

You're still whining about rolling an alt.

If you can't understand that an AC and a talent spec are completely and totally seperate things you might want to reconsider the insults.

It is not an ALT it is rolling the same class just to have a different specialization, that's like saying "Roll another hunter if you want to be a beast master"

EQ2 also used that same system. Every game with that system has reffered to them as classes. I'm taking it the people that don't get this likely have only played wow and haven't experienced the plethora of games that use this system.

Indeedy :)

Your video simply isn't proof of anything or winning you any points.

What they said at one point, simply doesn't matter, what matters is how things work now.

No, it's not. If you must use analogies because your logic is bad then it's like wanting to reroll a warrior into a paladin.

Sure they both look similar, but one can heal!

Hmm I think your logic is missing something. they have talent trees in the game, you use those to switch between dps and healing or different specs exactly like you are saying. I can switch my commando from dps to heal spec as the system currently works..

You don't use those to switch from a hunter to a druid which is what is being asked,

If BW lets AC respecs i might stop playing the game. Mainly because it will mean they are listening to certain groups of people complaining and not what is best for the game. Picking your ac is like picking your class. You can not change classes in any other game.

What made you think Assassin would be fun only to realize that it's not? The game gave you a lot of information about it before you made your choice.

The con to respecing advanced class is losing the commitment of the choice. It's the same as being able to simply respec all of your dark/light side points regardless of the choices you made.

Leveling to 10 does not take much time. Then beyond that you're already having fun with the new choice you made.

I'm not understanding why it took you an extra 10 levels to figure out that you hated the AC you chose...

Exactly. the class doesn't change enough that it will suddenly become enjoyable at 20 if you didn't like it at 10.

You wouldn't even have the correct gear for your new class.

almost all gear for each AC is interchangeable. atleast on a playable degree. Aside from JK/SW wher each AC has different gear they still have the same primary stat. So you could roll a Guardian/Juggernaut Dps in medium armor just fine till you were able to grind out a heavy armor set, since you have to do that anyway at level 10.

No it really really isn't. Your specialisation is where you put your points in your three different skill trees from level 10 onwards after you've chosen an ADVANCED CLASS.

Your arguing on the semantics of a word not actually the in game demonstration of how things work. Whether BioWare calls it a specialisation, an Advanced Class or a Sky Blue Pink With Yellow Dots On is irrelevant to how the mechanics work within the game.

Rolling an alt in other games didn't do this at all either and people did it all the time just because the classes played as significantly different as ACs do here.

Actually, as I stated earlier, they did. In WoW, playing an Undead Priest, was vastly different than playing a Blood Elf Priest. Additionally, there were multiple areas (usually about 2) that were appropriate for your level, until end game.

Actually, it's not even the same thing.

If you wanted beast mastery, you paid gold and changed it. You couldn't, however, pay gold to change your spec from marksmanship to fury.

You rolled a warrior for that.

You can pay credits in this game to change from immortal to rage. Just like you changed from survival to beast mastery.

You fail hard.

This, and maybe we should try to get them to change the name to farfengughens,

Forget it, you people have no concept of MMOs what-so-ever, you wanted to use EQ as an example? FINE.............Everquest had classes and then what they call ARCH-TYPES not classes!

The armor, sure, but not the weapon and offhand.

And what if you were a guardian going sent? All your gear is unusable since it's Heavy.

Not the same, ACs are just subclasses of a class.

I am against an AC change, it really is more of a class change than a talent change. More than enough information is provided to let you make an informed choice.

Many others have made the relevant points so I will leave it at that.
