Their burst is so OP

they are hitting 9k-12k burst on full champ gear tank..

amazingly ower powered..

if the player dun have break free CD ready.. than its GG

nerf operatives/scoundrels

This is the 2nd topic about this.

How about when they pull people into obstacles then stun them while the obstacle roasts them... oh wait they have no pulls...

But what about when they knock people off cliffs oh wait... they have no knockbacks that work on players...

Well what about their amazingly simple to use combat style oh wait... they are probably the hardest AC in the game to play.

Yup. Way overpowered. Nerfbat please.

Lol hard to play, sorry that medal goes to Maras and Sents. Your class needs to press 4 buttons to be effective in PvP mine uses 20+.

Hard to play.

Ha.

A Stealth class opening up on people who are fighting other people?

You mean they're supposed to walk up out of stealth?

Try playing any other class and killing someone in 3 GCDs. Bet you can't!

well said mate

From what i have seen, most classes do ok, but smugglers and op's are way overpowered.

If they dont tweak them, they will loose more players due to the inbalance , then they will loose due to a nerf.

If you're pressing 4 buttons you are doing it entirely wrong. Scoundrel's best skills are almost all conditional. And are mixed between melee range, short range, and longrange. Vital shot is longrange and our primary DOT skills. Flechette round, quick shot, and tendon blast are all short range and all skills that you should be using. Then you get into our melee skills. Blaster whip and dirty kick don't use conditions. One grants upper hand and decent damage, the other is a stun. Then you have back blast which you have to be behind your target to use. Cheap shot requires your opponent to be stunned. Sucker punch, one of your heaviest hitting abilities requires you to have upper hand, then it has a 50% chance to trigger flurry of fists which hits them again and re-triggers upper hand if they are bleeding.

We also have a slew of other skills like flashbang grenade which is a 10m range aoe daze and pugnacity a skill that gives 3 energy every 3 seconds that has a 35 second cooldown and a 45 second duration. You NEED to be aware of how to use these skills. Not every fight lasts 10 seconds and is a 1vs1.

Unlike sentinels we also need to be careful not to let our energy drop below 60 unless we have an open cool head or are about to finish the fight because we drop from 5 energy regen per second to 3 energy regen per second the moment we do.

Also we can only restealth in combat once a minute or once every 2 minutes if we don't spec for it. If we have a DOT on us when we go into stealth the first tick will drop us back out. If we are hit by an AOE in stealth it will drop us back out.

Big news since our only CC and our Shoot first ability which is our big attack we can use to open combat from stealth both require stealth to be used.

So yes, if a smuggler/op comes at you from stealth, hits you from stealth, you keep your back to them so they can get more hits in. Then they go back into stealth and you didn't DOT them or use AoEs once they go back in to pull them back out. And of course they have a firm understanding of all their abilities and are well specced/geared, they can really, seriously skrew you up.

Any class can really seriously skrew you up if they meet you on their ideal terms in their ideal gear with their ideal spec played by a skilled player.

No no, you misunderstood. 4 buttons:

Stealth, Opener, Backstab, Vanish.

Rinse, Repeat.

If you're using other buttons you're doing it wrong.

Flashbang only makes it more frustrating to actually kill an operative, but I won't blame Ops for that, I'll blame Bioware for some reason thinking they needed to make every CC in this game last 4 seconds for stuns or be a giant AoE.

CC is a joke in this game and Resolve is a terrible CC prevention system.

Again, Biowares fault, not your class. You can however, kill people in 2-3 hits out of stealth.

blablabla the main problem isn't op/scoundrel but biochem and overpowered consumables combined with the warzone buffs..

Them biochem adrenals can make "any" class do absurd amount of damage really

Absurd, sure. Kill someone in 3 GCDs?

Nope.
