I tried building my own computer through newegg and it just came out to be too much for my price range, and I never built a computer before, and then I saw this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=83-227-367&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Page=2#scrollFullInfo

The processor is a little small, but it is dual-core and 8 gig memory? Does this computer have a chance at this game? How much fps do you think at low graphics?

Horrible choice. Absolute waste of money.

What kind of fps does he have on what setting?

Also, why didn't you list windwos 7? that's an extra hundred.

You'll easily get 50 FPS+ with this on all ultra graphics in 1080.

Also, you can get your OS for free if you're a student, or know where to look ;)

It would be a waste of money to buy a dual-core and unless that cheapish computer comes with a raging graphics card in it you're going to be spending a lot on a new card, after you spent a lot of a new computer (see what im saying here?).

Save up and go for a quad-core with a HD Radeon 5700 Series or better (the computer you buy should come with a primo card so dont worry too much about figuring out exactly what it is).

Seriously though, in 2012 you should not be buying a dual-core, and if you buy one you will be hating yourself later. That's the biggest thing.

Building my own would cost me well over $500 man.

No it wont.

And Walmart has a quad core pc with 4 gigs of memory, 1tb hd for less than 400$ All you would need is a better graphics card which you could pick up at a later date.

And you must be on a pc now. So why build a new one? Upgrade that one. A lot less than 500$. I just ordered items to upgrade my downstairs pc from a dual-core and didnt go anywhere near 500$.
