I'm not buying an SSD till the prices go down and they will once they become more mainstream and production costs get less. To expensive for me right now to even see myself purchasing one.

Alienwares are a rip off......Trust me. Buy from iBuyPower or something or a computer shop or build it yourself you will save tons of money and I mean tons and you won't be kicking yourself in the head buying a super expensive computer your still paying on and it eventually becomes obsolete and now its just a clunker. Don't buy an Alienware for the love of God don't. Unless your loaded.

DO you think Bioware will have conventions like almost any MMO has with fanbase and playerbase? Has there been any talking of this by community reps or anything?

It does I used my Macbook Pro for the beta, but then I purchased a PC BTW Bioware uses Hero Engine http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HeroEngine

I don't this will be on the Mac for awhile the engine was not designed for backward capabilities, due to the fact that Bioware did not create the engine as well they just licensed it. The only solution they could is make a Wine Wrapper but I doubt that. So I don't really see a bright future for SWTOR on the mac usually most Mac builds are made from the ground up (I.e. WOW) and such there's not many Mac Compatible MMO besides Everquest
