  1. Topic title: How important is server community to you? For me, it's pretty damn important. I've been playing WoW since the beginning, and it just isn't the same anymore. MMOs are known as an alternate universe to divulge in, being with people you don't know and never met before to meet people and make new friendships. It's very hard to do that in WoW now. It started in Burning Crusade with realm transfers, and was a slippery slope from there. I remember in Burning Crusade, top guilds you knew, people with professions you knew. You knew who the good players were. You could easily make friends. It's a shame. I still remember the friends I made in Vanilla WoW and Burning Crusade. I do not remember the ones I made in Wrath, or Cata. That says something. Anyway, how important is community to you?
  2. They stated the earlier you pre-order, the more days you get. Pre-orders started in June or July, I forgot which month. And you pre-ordered in November. Go cry me a river.
  3. thank you, im gunna go with what u suggested =) and just curious, is that high settings for ur friends comp or medium?
  4. I would just like to know if this set up is good for SWTOR and mmo gaming in geneal. Also, this was an e-mail to my friend, so I'll just copy/paste. Total: $923.90 My first run through was $1200 so I got it down below $1000 which is good. -- Windows 7 = $99.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116986 -- Processor = 220$ Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 3000 BX80623I52500K -- Motherboard = $69.99 BIOSTAR TH67B LGA 1155 Intel H67 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s Micro ATX Intel Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138308 This is the part I'm worried about, but I think it should be ok. -- Memory = $39.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231311 -- Power Supply = $94.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139020 -- Video Card = $179.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127510 I know that's expensive for a video card but it's only $75 more for the card, and I think it's better to have a better graphics card than a processor for gaming. -- Hard Drive = $139.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148697 Is that too expensive? -- Case = $50 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147153
  5. So I can not put a new graphics card in that computer?
  6. Well, I have a walmart discount of 10% so I would save money getting this one: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Acer-1TB-PT.SGM02.002/16608489 That is better than what I linked in the OP, right? With a graphics card, let's say gtx 460, would I be able to play ok at least on medium settings?
  7. What kind of fps does he have on what setting? Also, why didn't you list windwos 7? that's an extra hundred.
  8. Building my own would cost me well over $500 man.
  9. I tried building my own computer through newegg and it just came out to be too much for my price range, and I never built a computer before, and then I saw this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=83-227-367&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Page=2#scrollFullInfo The processor is a little small, but it is dual-core and 8 gig memory? Does this computer have a chance at this game? How much fps do you think at low graphics?
