ssluigipk
"I dont think preorder date should have anything to do with it." Once you release your own MMO you are welcome to institute whatever policies you deem "correct". "We all knew the game was coming but some of us wanted to see some reviews before we made a decision. Apparently being cautious and prepared is a crime that is punishable." Not sure what world you live in but typically RISK comes with REWARD. Claiming you are being "punished" as oppsed to the early orders being rewarded speaks of your childish, self-entitled character. EXACTLY WE ALL PAID the same, except the different versions, on the othernote we all dont get to play at the same time. Moneys Money first come first serve crap dont matter when you pay you get what you pay for, not waitin in line at apple to buy somthing get there n its sold out crap. You didnt pay for it did you, now if you paid for ur ipad but it was sold out then theres a problem. Edited December 14, 2011 by ssluigipk

Stoicraven
F- 1. Never told us when we'd get access. 1000's of fans took today off work and school and for what? To sit around all day hoping to get an invite that never came. 2. Only gave access to the first 6 days of pre-orders. They have 150 more days to go. 3. The Bioware team calls it quits at 2pm CST and heads home for the night. 4. All current available servers have been XP pvp exploited. 5 All current servers except one are "Light" or "standard" population, and those lucky enough to get in game, can't find groups because the entire world is mostly empty. 6. Crappy UI 7. No combat log I'll play my first 30 free days then I'm done with Bioware forever. It's like Ford. My dad bought a brand new Ford Tempo in 1989. The thing was the biggest piece of junk you'd ever seen. I will never, ever buy a Ford because of that. 1. Not Biowares fault you're irresponsible 2. You don't know that 3. The Bioware team is a 24/7 operation. Having been a general tester I know this as FACT. 4. Exploits in a MMO, one that did not exist prior to launch, not a surprise. 5. All Current Servers are Heavy/Standard a small minority are minor. If you were playing you'd know this. 6. UI is accessible and functions properly 7. Yeah can't argue that one. AldoraB
The majority of people that are defending BW and EA at this point are people who have already gotten in. Of course they are content. While I did get my invite today, I would have been happy with this weekend. I've thought this was a good idea the whole time. Of course, I also have pretty good reading comprehension so I understood what "up to 5 days" means.

Of course we are gonna defend BW/EA. They said, since day one, that EGA would be staggered based on when you entered your pre-order code. Too bad for you you didn't do your research, otherwise you just might have not pre-ordered in the first place. Anyways, I suspect you're trolling. Waste of time here. Back to playing HAHA. Stoicraven
Bioware gets an A-The TOR Community isn't even worthy of being graded. mynimoe
Apparently wanting the same thing for everyone is selfish. I guess I am a selfish person. I am sorry that I think EVERYONE should have gotten the same amount of early access play time. I stand by it. Apparently advocating equality and fairness (which are infact synonyms) makes me a selfish person. I'll take the title then.

WarlordThuran
D- While it is nice to have early access at all, which keeps them from a clear F, the way it has been handled has been absolutely abysmal and the worst part is that they could EASILY have solved the problem and gotten and A instead! First of all: Uncertainty about WHO gets in when. They have conflicting sources regarding if access is actually on a first come first serve basis or if certain retailers got access ahead of others. - No info on WHEN we get in: Again, a simple email on the 13th telling everyone when they would get in would have completely removed the biggest complaint which was the uncertainty - Too few get in. People who are in are remarking that the servers are empty and during the beta we saw that servers can handle 2 million players, so instead of using this great, heartening news to get more people in earlier and earning kudos for that, it simply makes glaringly clear that they are only letting so few people in not because their servers can handle it but because.....because....how the hell should I know? They havent given a good reason and there isnt a good reason! If they wanted to stagger to avoid crowds, they have still let waaaaaaay too few people in for that! At least some. - No 24/7 Waves. Again, easily solved problem , so why only 5 waves!? Sure make the waves smaller to avoid starting zone crowding, but then have a lot more waves! - No communication. Not much to add, ***?! Haven't you guys ever heard of damage control? Instead you are turning what might just be a minor nuisance into a huge PR disaster, and this could have been solved yesterday morning by someone spending 5 minutes to make a statement about the situation. Instead you are ignoring the customers who are annoyed at your service before the service is even launched! People aren't angry because they haven't gotten in, they are angry because Bioware is keeping us completely in the dark for no damn good reason! -Why is the game still advertised as giving up to 5 days early access when even the people who preordered at the beginning are coming out of reach of that? Frankly, this entire set of events make it seem more likely that the entire dev team was abducted by frigging aliens! -And worst of all, this should have been a good, exciting event, but because of Bioware screwing up simple things, it means that instead it gives Swtor an utterly sour launch. First impressions are damn important, especially when customers are comitting to a longer period of time in the case of an mmo, so by making your customers displeased right off the bat you are also cutting into their goodwill in regards to the flaws your game is going to have, and it is that goodwill which is needed to keep your mmo alive and growing, you had the world cheering on you and you wasted it all on simple stupidity! Actually, frak it, Im giving them an F! and a /golfclap.

I will never, ever buy a Ford because of that. Aww come on, not even a try? I have owned two ford products and both had no issues, my grandpa and uncle have fords over 200K with no major malfunctions. Otherwise, I am not sure if I should rate bioware, I had a preorder months ago, but never got a code. I canceled and reordered the game already though. Well, maybe I can get one day of EGA. The beta was fun though.
arteri
How to make people happy: Send everybody who's getting in on Dec 1x this email: Congrats! You get EGA on Dec 1x! ssluigipk
Heres a simple solution release the game no prerelease crap. Say its gonna release on 20th people will take time off release it on the 22nd there time off is gone, they are now working people will slowly login as they figure out its actually 22nd no crashes problem solved OR just release a prerelease on the 15th deal with the crashes as every other mmo does n just deal with it. Mackuss
B-. Great, smooth launch, but zero communication. Communication is a courtesy though. We'll all get to play so it doesn't matter anyway. Your life should revolve around a LOT LOT more than a video game. And most of us spend more money on gas every month than we payed for this game, but yet don't complain to companies about how much they're overcharging us for that - or lobbying for alternative fuel. LOL, humanity.

Coyotecalls
I registered back when I first pre-ordered and then when they reset the pre-registrations I sent in an email. I got an email back on 12/13 after sending in the email on 12/9. It took them 4 DAYS to send me the automated response saying they had gotten my email and have added me to the list of people who were reset by the system error. I would give them a C at this point because they are refusing to be truthful. They are acting like it's all under control and it's -obviously- F.U.B.A.R. at this point. They just need to come out and say, "Look, our system messed up and the queue was lost so now we are putting people in as best we can. Don't wait up, don't take your days off work. It may be some time next week before you get in."
