The strange thing is that sometimes the GCD does not affect it, while other times it does.

How exactly Force Potency is affected by the global cooldown? Sometimes, I'm running my healing spells around in a WZ, and I see FP is off cooldown. It is in-between spells (global cooldown is still counting), so I pop it for my next heal. Now SOMETIMES it activates perfectly. Sometimes it does NOT. Sometimes I spam it and it just say "no ty. Wait for GCD to be over, then we'll talk." GCD ends, and it activates just fine. In this second scenario, it does not start another GCD (which, as I understand it, is intended). What is the deal here? It's a small thing, but I like to maximize my healing done, and that split second I have to dedicate to hitting that button first (instead of spamming Big-Healerance) is time wasted.

I like to do my own healing spec, and I had all the points I wanted in heals, so I went for Egress. I only had enough for Egress 1. No where in the description of Egress does it say that there is a chance for it to proc. It only says that it does: Egress Force Armor increases the target's movement speed by [10 / 20]% for 3 seconds. Rank 2 works 100% of the time. Rank 1 seems to only work ~50% of the time. Can anyone confirm this, please?

I, personally, stack alacrity. I have a rakata alacrity adrenal, and I pick armor/mods that have alacrity. That said, I can see the draw to power/surge because it is hard to get that 5k healing medal using alacrity gear. So: If you want commendations/valor: use surge/power. If you want to be a better healer, use alacrity.

Wear your PvP armor. They will only get better numbers than you if they never get attacked. They are meat if they get targeted.

I'm Goodcat from the Davik's Estate server. I pretty regularly do 700k healing a game. That said, expertise makes the job MUCH easier (as you know). The best advice I can give you is this- find a good vanguard tank and tell him to hump you the whole game. His aoe stuns, guard, and taunt (30% reduced damage for enemies unless they attack him) save your life. Without a tank, sage healers will always be 3 shots (I still get hit 5.5k by assassins and operatives).

At least 1,000 bottles for every turret killed. Um... that's too many? I KNOW IT IS.

Agree w/ OP I'm not hardcore, and I don't intend to level the fastest, but it sucks playing a new game where a bunch of people are already max level. Can we have some servers that just come out on the 20th?

I contacted SW CS on Dec 8th to ask about my pre-order. They said it was good to go. Turns out they just applied it again, putting me at December 8 (back of the line). I just looked again and I have an identical email for Dec 8... Somebody was being lazy in CS. Not like they're going to fix this any time soon. Ah, well. I should study for finals, anyways.
