  1. Buff the other classes. Leave my Sith Inquisitor (Madness) Sorcerer alone. I don't even play PVP.
  2. On the "Shadow Lands" server I have all Zabrak characters. They are my favorite species. On the "Ebon Hawk" server, I gave all Cathar characters. They are my 2nd favorite species. I should point out that I have half as many Cathar alts as Zabraks because the customization options ARE NOT AVAILABLE for Cathar. Please, BioWare show some more Cathar love.
  3. I feel so bad for people who try to apply the Sith Code to real life or feel that it is real or that the Sith are not evil. You need to stop taking it literally or stop believing it's real. It's all fake. It's all a fantasy. Some years ago, while playing Knights of the Old Republic on my XBOX, I came to the place in the Sith Academy where you address the purple Twi'lek woman Yuthara Ban who helps you understand the meaning of the Sith Code. I wrote it down in between dialogue response choices. I cleaned it up so it looked more like an educational document and less like video game dialogue. I doubt you can take it literally or apply it to your real life. Here is the Sith Code and it's interpretation. Enjoy. THE SITH CODE PEACE IS A LIE. THERE IS ONLY PASSION. THROUGH PASSION, I GAIN STRENGTH. THROUGH STRENGTH, I GAIN POWER. THROUGH POWER, I GAIN VICTORY. THROUGH VICTORY, I GAIN FREEDOM. THROUGH FREEDOM, MY CHAINS ARE BROKEN. THE FORCE SHALL FREE ME. PEACE IS A LIE. THERE IS ONLY PASSION. The Jedi would have you believe that peace is a desirable goal, that peace of the spirit is the way the Force is mastered, that a lack of conflict betters man. We [The Sith] know different. It is our passion, our hate, and our desire that fuels the Force. It is conflict that improves the lot of civilization and the single being both. Conflict forces one to better oneself. It forces change, growth, adaptation, evolution, or death. These are not our laws, but the universe's. Without conflict, you have only stagnation. THROUGH PASSION, I GAIN STRENGTH. What fuels your power with the Force but your passion? The stronger, darker emotions: anger, hatred, fear. These passions empower us. What about love? Love is more dangerous than all of those things. Love leads to anger and hatred more often than not, but it also leads to mercy, which is far worse. That, however, is a lesson for another time. What keeps the most rudimentary creature alive? Fear to run, anger to fight... without it, a creature would most surely die. We are far more than them, perhaps, but in some ways we are little different. To think us creatures beyond the need of simple passions is a delusion. The Jedi say the opposite. How can both be right? The Force gives us all power, even the Jedi. It is our mastery of our passion that gives us the strength they lack. It is our goal to be stronger, to achieve our potential and not rest on our laurels. We are the seekers not the shepherds. THROUGH STRENGTH, I GAIN POWER. The stronger you become in the Force, the more power you will achieve. But always, you must fight for your power. Without strife, your victory has no meaning. Without strife, you do not advance. Without strife, there is only stagnation. THROUGH POWER, I GAIN VICTORY. How many sorts of victories can you imagine? Peaceful victory, victory by sacrifice, a truce, an achievement? Unless the victory is achieved by demonstrating that your power is superior, it is only an illusion. Temporary at best. We seek more. THROUGH VICTORY, I GAIN FREEDOM. THROUGH FREEDOM, MY CHAINS ARE BROKEN. This has been argued over, and often. The chains represent our restrictions, both those placed upon us and those we place upon ourselves. Ultimately, the goal of any Sith is to free oneself from such restrictions. In a way, it is so we may do whatever we wish... but it is much more than that. One who has freed themselves from all restrictions has reached perfection. Their potential fulfilled. Perfect strength. Perfect power. Perfect destiny. Imagine it. That is our ideal at any rate. It is said in the Sith legends that the "Sith'ari," the prefect being will one day lead us. But perhaps that is just a legend. I wonder what such a being would be like. The legends say the "Sith'ari" will destroy us... and make us stronger than ever. Perfection is a goal, I think, rather than a state of being. The Jedi would argue that, no doubt. THE FORCE SHALL FREE ME. The Force is our servant and our master, our teacher and our companion, a weapon and a tool. Know it and you know the universe. Master it and you master the universe. Strive for perfection and the Force shall reward you.
  4. I'll have to pay closer attention. I'm the healer, so I spend most of my time keeping my comp or group alive. In heroics, I'll attack more, because I can get away with it more. I will keep an eye on my light saber attacks to see if they end sweetly. Thanks for the heads up.
  5. I'm the same way. In groups, I'm the healer. It is my only function if the most experienced players say so. When I'm not healing, I may throw out some poison or a stun, but for the most part I wait for the chance to heal and protect while I move with the group. I keep my eyes on the health bars. I never heal more than 3 players. If group is larger than 4 people (more than myself and 3 others), I insist that the extra person lends some heals. Any extra player(s) can also protect me (as the NPC often attacks the healer who is keeping his attackers alive). The healer should never over-extend his/herself. I never pour on more heals than what is required to keep the player active. If you over over-extend yourself, you'll lose FP (Force Power). The more people you have, and the more heals you lay down, the greater you extend yourself. You have to keep yourself healthy too. You have to learn how pace yourself. I never get bored healing. I find it quite exciting when it's done right.
  6. I do not want it to be retired. I'm sorry that you are frustrated and bored. I offer suggestions in the hopes that the game can go on and, not just go on but pick up steam and more players.
  7. Yes! Have other players stand at certain distances from one another to mark the track. Have them cheer and clap and root for the racers with emotes.
  8. What will happen to SWTOR after all the business with Zakuul is concluded? I want SWTOR to continue into the future. To that end, I have suggestions which are not original. I plugged words into the search window and came up with nothing. I thought I's take a stab at it. I'd like SWTOR to introduce the Zygerrians http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/5/5b/Zygerrians-SWE.png/revision/latest?cb=20160914024800. They are slavers. They can be a playable race. While the majority of the species favor the profitable business of slavery in the galaxy and they can serve on the Imperial faction, the minority of some can serve the Republic faction. They would probably be ostracized from Zygerrian society as it is built on the backs of slaves. They had a slavery empire for "thousands" of years as of the Clone Wars Era. A Zygerrian said this to Obi-Wan Kenobi. So this could work. For the Republic faction, we can introduce the Falleen people.http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/c/c8/ZitonMoj-TCWS5Clip.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20130122141156 Their society has used slaves, enslaving the lower classes of their own kind. As direct counter to the slavery issue, The majority could side with the Republic against slavery while a minority still support it on the Imperial faction. This species has served both sides both canonically and in the Legends lore. I propose that after the issues with Zakuul have been completed, the Republic and the Jedi can turn to reconstruction. There will be pocket remnants of the Empire that Republic and the severely damaged Jedi numbers have to deal with. The Republic and the Jedi can also deal with organized crime in the Hutt Cartel for their involvement with Makeb. There would also be The Exchange and Czerka and the Mandalorians trying to fill the power vacuum, and establish foot holds in the galaxy. Playable Species: Zygerrians for the Empire faction. Falleen for the Republic faction. Explorable planets: could be "Kashyyyk," "Shilli" the home world of the Togruta species, both of which suffer attacks from slavers. New Classes: "Slaver" for the Imperial Side and "Liberator" for the Republic Side as each class gives you a first hand look into missions to enlave or rescue targeted species. This could open up new and heroic 2s and 4s, operations, flash points, single, and group missions, pvp, and pve,
  9. You shouldn't take the Jedi Code so literally. Think outside the box. This is my interpretation of the Jedi Code. I hope this will enlighten you. a) There is no emotion. There is peace. 1) remain detached 2) remain focused b) There is no ignorance. There is knowledge. 1) know yourself 2) know your enemy c) There is no passion. There serenity. 1) silence all internal conflicts 2) banish all negative thoughts and stimuli d) There is no Chaos. There is harmony. 1) stay focused on the task at hand 2) do not allow external conflicts or stimuli disrupt you 3) keep your mind on the here and now 4) be mindful of the living Force 5) allow the Force to guide your actions and thoughts.... e) There is no death. There is the Force. 1) all things perish 2) all life returns to the Force 3) all life becomes the Force 4) all life comes from the Force 5) do not dwell on those who have passed 6) rejoice for those who pass and become one with Force
  10. Consider spelling names backward, or spelling it the way it would sound backward. Scramble up your name, scramble the names of friends or family. Make plays on words. The play on words can be a message. Purposefully misspell it so that it looks like an alien name or a name that might look good in the Star Wars Universe. All of my character names are plays on words and I created an entire Legacy this way.
  11. Hutts and Toydarians (remember Watto?) are biologically immune to Force mind tricks. There are some characters in Star Wars that have trained to resist them. Some organizations like the Mandalorians and other such groups train to resist mind tricks. There are exceptions as well. The training isn't fool proof. In KoTOR, there was a Hutt in the Lower City (I hope I am not mistaken) that you could apply a Force mind trick to. It was either him or the Hutt that ran the swoop track on Tatooine that could be tricked. My opinion (strictly that, mine) is that Hutts get way too arrogant over time, when dealing with the rabble of the galaxy, to the point of letting down their guard. It has been said that the Force has an affect on the weak minded. So it is strictly my opinion, that extreme arrogance or overconfidence, letting your guard down, can weaken even a biological immunity to mind tricks.
  12. I'd buy it too. I was just going to say, alts and their spouse/companions should have children. I created offspring for my JK and SI, my mains. I used them for the Light VS Dark event.
  13. George Lucas and Steven Spielberg are best friends. You might notice that in the "original" "Poltergeist" movie the boy is a Star Wars fan. He has toys, blankets, and a C-3P0 light switch cover. Steven Spielberg even directed "E.T.: The Extraterrestrial." The alien we lovingly referred to as "E.T." crashed landed on EARTH!!! Eliott was showing E.T. his toys. They were Star Wars action figures. In "Star Wars: Episode I: the Phantom Menace," there is the scene in the Republic Senate building where the Senators and their Representatives are arguing over the blockade in the Naboo System. Watch it carefully or you'll miss it. You see little E.T.s in a senate box raising their long necks. If you watch the special features, GL himself will point out that he had E.T.s placed in the movie. Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace is canon. There is your Star Wars / Earth connection
  14. I DO HAVE a male Zabrak Smuggler and DID marry Akaavi. The problem is, I finished that character so long ago , I DO NOT REMEMBER the issue of mating compatibility. I just finished my Sith Inquisitor Assassin. She married Andronikos Revel. In the last conversation, they discussed having kids. He is human. She is Zabrak. In fact, all my alts are Zabs. I know, I'm boring. There was no discussion of compatibility, but instead, discussed whether it was truly what they wanted. Take that however you wish. I don't know if the conversation follows the same lines with Akaavi and The [male] Smuggler. I do know that in almost all companion dialogues, when you complete the conversations with your alt, they pledge themselves to you and your offspring.
  15. I'd like to have Aloysius Kallig's (Darth Nox's) Armor Set. We already have "Kallig's Scorching Light Saber" and the mask, "Kallig's Countenence." Maybe there could be an armor bonus for having the complete set.
  16. My Warrior is a male who married Dark Jaesa Wilsaam. He misses her. She was his soul mate. I hope they will reunite. My Zabrak Smuggler male married Akaavi Spaar. He misses her as well. My Imperial Agent Male has already been reunited with his wife, Kaliyo Djannis. They are very happy now. I believe my other alts are missing spouses as well. Not all of my alts started relationships in their stories. Like my Jedi Knight who was married to the Jedi Order regrets not revealing his feelings for Kira Carson and hopes that it won't be too late.
  17. It seems it took a lot of time and effort to translate all of that. Was that Huttese? You did a very good job. Thank you for your commitment.
  18. A Force user has to use the Force to assemble a light saber hilt, it's mechanical pieces, and the crystal(s). The power supply and the crystal(s) individually are charged and imbued with Force energy. The hilt and all of the components combine through the Force on a level, merely assembling by hand or machine cannot achieve. All of the components fuse at the molecular level through the Force and via the Force-Adept's knowledge and intense focus of the Force. Pre-Viz'sla (already a highly skilled warrior and combatant) and Han Solo (not very adeptly at all) were able to handle those weapons after they were already assembled.
  19. NO. I disagree. Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, and company did not get around the galaxy by clicking their heels together three times and wishing they were there. They needed a star ship. Sometimes they were chased, shot at and separated along they way. If you want to travel to the next planet, you need a star ship, not ruby slippers.
  20. I do see what you mean. I need new outfits anyway so I flew to Coruscant and bought it. It was a little pricey at 1,200,000 credits. I slapped in a white on white dye mod, that I had in reserve from its sale, on the CM, from a while ago. It looks decent. I can forgive the barf bag, Yes remove it, though. It serves no practical purpose other than to hide behind or serve as a feed bag or barf bag. Thanks for the post though. I have a new outfit. Cheers.
  21. I am totally in support of this idea. /signed
  22. I'd like to suggest adding a light saber attack or two to make use of the light saber in close quarters. I have a Sorc. He is my favorite character. I like that the SI manipulates the Force. With my sorc being complete and much more powerful than ever, I do like to, on occasion, attack with the light saber if I can get away with it. Don't remove the light saber. Make it a little more useful, instead. Add something to it, like an attack or two to make use of the SI possession of the weapon.
  23. I don't mind Skadge. He's about as useful to the Bounty Hunter as Khem Val is to the Sith Inquisitor. I love Khem Val. He is my number 1. I was ticked off that we get saddled with the new Dashade pretender. I'll never use him. He is not Khem. I use Xalek instead. He is an awesome companion and enjoy the master / student relationship. The companion I like the least would probably be Ashara Zavros. She is about as useful as a tick on a dog's butt. She walks the fence on her beliefs the entire time. I look forward to killing her if I get the chance. Treek is useful as a healer / tank, but I cannot stand her language (ewokese). It makes my ears bleed.
  24. 1. SI 2. JK 3. SW 4. JC 5. IA 6. SM 7. BH 8. TR I loved all 8 of the stories. It was hard to pick a favorite. This was the order in which I completed each one.
  25. I totally support any aesthetic extras for players' favorite species. Please BioWare listen to your players.
