  1. I wonder if they will keep doing monthly rewards after season 1 ending this month. But yes, I was also a little surprised to not having that deco already.
  2. They listen, just not to you, since you are unreasonable. Other MMOs have similar approaches, like Guild Wars 2 does it too, and from what I heard is that the next World of WarCraft expansion is also impementing something alike.
  3. The main reason why I like it is because it lets me better play together with friends that have not the same level as I have, since I still get stuff even when I am many levels higher. Also, I think it is nice that world bosses require a group again and the funny thing is that kingpin bounties become easier so that they can be better done solo.
  4. I think it is fun, gives the players something to do, and I don't mind which side is going to win. Both companions look fine (even though I which we could have a male force user that would also work as romance option). Regarding the companion that will not be won this way, I guess they will not dismiss it completely, since they probably have to create both anyway so that they can give them out when the event ends. And they had done so with the party Java too, the other option ended up on the cartel market back then.
  5. It is in most games that only the tip of the iceberg is actually active on forums or other internet plattforms, since not everybody feels the need to be vocal about what they play or how they play.
  6. LS? Is that supposed to stand for light side? You know that Light or Dark have nothing to do with Republic or Empire? Anyway, the issue is not just with Vette (even though I find the 2 customisations for her from the packs good). And there are a few threads about this issue in the suggestion box already.
  7. If you think your companion is too strong, well then use one that has less influence (and don't give that one any gifts). Regarding your personal annecdote, well I have seen companions die even during the time when they where more powerful then they currently are.
  8. You are not the first one to ask for this, but yeah, would be nich to have that.
  9. Not sure if someone already mentioned it, but since I enjoy keeping the PVP lightsabres from leveling, I would like those to have that slot been added to.
  10. I also noticed that a few things aren't half price, but well I ran out of cartal coins anyway for the moment, so guess to unlock more I have to save first some of those, and I hope maybe next time when such half price thing comes around they will get actually everything for half.
  11. Since they are not part of the collection system and become bound when used, I have to say they maybe drop a little too scarcely.
  12. Iliked those because of the affection/influence gains one could have with companions, or when playing with friends for the social points one could get while doing dailies.
  13. SWTOR sadly cannot handle too many sprites without getting a terrible slow frame rate (Ilum anyway in the weeks after realses demonstrated that rather well). Anyway, I care for PvP, even when I am not fighting, the possiblity that it can happen spices up the game. And of course it provides players with the option to do their own events, like invading an enemy faction quest node (or even their capital in some games). But one of my favourite memories had been in WoW when I was still leveling back in vanilla times, I took my fair share of time, and one day when I was fishing with my Nightelf I saw a level cap Tauren coming my way, I knew I would be dead if I fight, so I did not even bother to switch to a weapon and kept fishing, when he arrvied he just also started fishing right next to me. That was a nice experience, and well it just confirmed my opionion why playing on PvP shared is always more fun.
  14. Had started a thread on this issue month ago too. It is sad that BioWare still have not addressed this, since those decoration pieces are the only reason I do flashpoints at all (and I know people are glad when tanks queue), but I simply have no incentive doing them. Guess it doesn't affect how much BioWare is earning, so it is not high up on their priority list.
  15. Your server is dead anyway, with or without the focus switch. Sure, I think it was bad for all PvP server, but BioWare never got what PvP want, so no surprise in that regard. My solution was to move my characters to The Red Eclipse, since the more heavy poplated server always will have people who try to avoid the masses and risk playing in the PvP instance now, and I guess plenty of PvP players moved there like me when server transferes had cost only 90cc, and you should have done the same instead of staying on a mostly dead server.
  16. Sure, but why do I have to wipe when other people have already figured out how it goes. I for my part prefer to learn from the mistakes others do, spares me the time to do all the mistakes on my own. But I am not a hardcore progression raider who has to figure out all the fights in the first week, since like I said I do them often only month occationally even years after the got released, and when people just want to have a quick run with people who already know what they are doing I understand that I might be seen as a burden then there... just as I start to get annoyed with the folks who seem to still not get the new warzone and thus make stupid mistakes that leads to lost matches which could have been won, and a raid is usually more time commitment than just a warzone, so if there goes something south it is just more annoying.
  17. I see nothing wrong with the option that lets one simply know if somebody has seen the raid in that difficulty before or got throu it or not. It spares everyone of the step of asking and occational lies and then after much wasted time to hate on each other. And yes this has been used against me in the past, since I am mostly a PvP player, but I am upfront with telling people that I haven't done a raid and that somebody has to work me through. So, I don't mind too much if people say they prefer to have someone experienced with them on the raid (And I still have not yet done the Shadow of Revan raids even in story mode).
  18. Wait, does that mean there is hope for me that I might also be capable to enjoy that one day again? Thanks, that is for once good news then! But I guess I have to do the normal adult thing for some years still until I get to your level of awesomeness!
  19. Guess I am getting too old for this, enjoy it while you can!
  20. Well, then simply dismiss your companion, that option is already in the game.
  21. Sure, they are different then the first worlds we got, but honestly the actual story on those worlds had not been that much more than what we now get in the current chapters. And we really don't get any of those large worlds anymore anyway, so I prefer more story any day of the week of these small worlds that we ever got after Makeb, especially since Oricron, Rishi, Yavin IV, and Ziost each had so little story and we had to wait more than a month to get that continued. Well, maybe I am fine with little story every month, like watching a rather slow scheduled TV series, and I can enjoy watching shows I like multiple times, so whatever BioWare is doing, it works for me. And now that I finally moved to a diferent server I can enjoy GSF, PvP, and all the PvE stuff also again. Don't get me wrong, I think the approach on the storytelling could still be improved, and I sure would like to see at one point in the future again a large open world to explore again (still hopining for an uncivilised Naboo!), but what does it good to complain about things are not the games fault, but are just depending on your attitude playing it. I mean, OP has a partly a point, if all you are focusing on is the end game raiding, then you miss out on the experience the game can be.
  22. 15 minutes chapters? Let me guess you skip all the cutscenes and are then surprised that it leaves you with not enough satisfaction. The magic word is 'story', ane maybe you will understand that one day when you have grown up.
  23. Aside from those already mentioned, look for stuff that has the word 'dancer' or 'reveler' in them on the GTN, those are from the packs. My personal favourite is the Elegant Loungewear though.
  24. TUX is such an angel... I see him posting for a long time, but only the last few days had me taught to really appreciate him. Anyway, OP, maybe just take a break, and come back later, some times it is good to pause for a while, so keep your stuff for when you might feel like returning to give SWTOR another go, maybe with season two or a later expansion. Until than, take care!
  25. Pretty much this. Really what does OP think, he (or she?) complains about leveling is not fulfilling, but also talks about skipping cutscenes, maybe it is not an issue with the game but an issue within how he (or she) plays. I for my part enjoy the easy mode leveling up, and thus can enjoy the story more, better see the conections between what happens it doesn't get disrupted by huge grinds how it was when the game launched. I am here for the story, and I get what I want out of the game, and I keep doing GSF, PvP, and Flashpoints, even though I have all the gear and enhancements I could ever want from them, since I also just enjoy playing the game and do notalways just worry about what I have to grind next.
