Yep, stick with intel. Ive always mistrusted AMD since in the beginning they wouldn't tell us the core speeds. Just give us model numbers like 2300 and stuff like that.

I would switch out the power supply for an 800w or higher. It makes for a more stable system, and then you can add a second video card if you have room.

Depends on your video card. If you have an HDMI output your all set to use any TV you want. If you are using a DVI you may need a TV with the right input.

Build A Desktop. Buy it 1 piece at a time if you have to. Would you rather spend 2-3k per year, or spend about 5k and have a computer that lasts 4-6 years. And then you can upgrade the graphics card for about $600. No word of a lie. That's what I just did. Have had my comp for 4 years and I just dropped in a new GTX580 and it runs smooth as silk. No fan noise and very little heat in my GPU. No crashes and no frame rate issues. And that's with only 1 card. If i were to drop in another I could push this game to full levels and keep my frame rate. Right now I'm running it at medium graphic levels with full AA.

Stop playing on laptops. They overheat while playing games. They may have similar hardware to a desktop but they have no room to cool during a long play session. The industry loves to sell people new computers every 8 months to a year. Don't fall for it.

Go with the best i7 you can afford with Nvidia graphics. This seems to be the one that works with ToR. If you can afford it they have some really nice sealed liquid cooled cards out there that you never have to refill. Nice and quiet.

It is the one that makes color crystals. But right now I hear that all crafting is mostly a credit sink since PVP Flashpoint and Operation gear is so much better.

Mabe a bit of software server side that locks a faction when the ratio gets too high. Like 2:1 or 3:1. Might help grow server populations more evenly.

So they seem to be fine with more than half of the 2 million sales not subbing. They say that 800k is enough. This seems about right for an mmo launch. But also we wont really know until they release the sales figures on Feb 1st.

How about that end class quest? I'll bet troopers don't have to deal with that level of difficult end boss.

I like the G510. Its a full keyboard and supports multiple button presses. Also it has 18 programmable keys on the left of the keyboard. So you can reach the asdw keys and the number and Fkeys above it. And add to that the 18 keys next to it and you have a very customizable solution. All in 1 usb port so no need to tax the motherboard or the OS with multiple devices. Been using this style of game play for years and love it for MMOs.

I think you have to do the main storyline quests as well. They tie into the class quests.

Is it this hard to beat the last boss on the other classes? Or are we just expected to be the elite of this game?

and when it does work it goes something like this. you look down at your UI you press riposte you look back up at the fight and see that the enemy has hit you twice while you were looking at your UI. You realize that riposte did less dmg than the enemy did to you while your weren't looking. you put ripost on a side hotbar and don't use it again.

Should this much strategy be needed for a solo quest? One that everyone is expected to do? Does everyone really think that this is doable for everyone who plays this game? Are the other class quests this hard at the end?

It does look nice. I wouldn't mind switching the hotbars around though. The extra hotbar that appears under the main one should be on top.

They have not nerfed him yet. They removed some of the trash on the way to him. But he is just as overpowered as ever.

Star Wars is made by someone who only understands a one or the other approach. There is no middle ground here. Why do you think George Lucas just pulled a huge suck out and said he is retiring from Star Wars because he cant do anything right? I think its mostly because he wrote these stories in college and hasn't written anything new for Star Wars since. Mabe he stole the stories from someone in college or something. That would explain a lot.

I'm sure they will see profit in this and have a purchase all ready for you and everyone who wants the CE. I half expect they will have an in game store selling us stuff too soon.

Have they posted anything about this from the devs?
