  1. And with that my friends, the servers are back up hours earlier then promised. Good job Bioware, buy those smart and hard workers a beer for me!
  2. I'm glad I am not the only one enjoying myself. One man can look at a snowy mountain and see a beautiful canvas with tree's casting long shadows down white rocky peaks, while another man can look at the same mountain and see a wet pile of dirt. I've ran into my share of bugs and issues in this game, my battlemaster title was not granted when I hit valor 60. It sucked, I submitted my ticket and when they couldn't fix it I got over it. When my friends make mistakes I forgive them because I like them. And if think a game is good enough, I will forgive it too as long as I am still having fun. And I'm still having a blast. Can't wait to get my hands on the new flashpoint, and all 4 legacy buffs!
  3. I just want to say to Bioware, and the SWTOR players that log on to have some fun - thank you! I have been having a lot of fun since release, and I can tell that this is a game that a LOT of love has been poured into. The voice acting talent is fantastic, I'm in love with the female smuggler and I was terrified of Darth Baras as he screamed with hell-born rage about a failed interrogation. I have been dominated and fell to my death in almost every inch of every pvp warzone in the game, just as I have killed my enemies enough to fill the chasm in the middle of the Voidstar to the brim. I have met many cool people who with I have spent untold amounts of credits on repair bills from wiping in operations and flashpoints, and who cheered me on when I won some good gear after we defeated the boss who had been pwning us up to that point. From the Esseles and Black Talon, to Nightmare Karagga, I've been having a load of fun. Thanks for all the work on 1.2, I'm enjoying the new content I have sampled so far, and I'm sorry your having technical problems today resulting in massive nerd rage. I will be patient and wait for you guys to get things in order, because I know you all work hard to create this wonderful experience I have been having. And to my friends who play SWTOR for fun, I'll see you all in just a little bit.
  4. I remember the first time I entered PVP in SWTOR. I was like "Wow, everyone is killing me in 3-4 seconds." And I remember the last time I PVP'd yesterday. I was like "Wow, it took longer then 3-4 seconds to kill that guy, where is the damn healer!"
  5. I've got a Scoundrel which is the mirror class of an Operative. I can top the charts in DPS and Healing. I also eat any and all classes for breakfast. I am now leveling up an operative on the Empire side of my server, and when I was at level 11 I took second place DPS in a huttball. Even with the limited toolbox I had at that level, I still knew how to use those tools to the fullest. A lot of people like to blame things that are not themselves, because its easier on the ego. But if you want to improve your gameplay, look inward and figure out what you are not doing. Are you using your defensive cooldowns? Adrenals? Stims? Interrupts? CC's when your target doesn't have the resolve bar up? The various boost items laying around in the warzones? Is your rotation good, is your spec properly pvp oriented?
  6. Does this game output a chat log? Perhaps I could make a program that reads the log and mutes my computers sound for 15 seconds every time it see's a line from C2-N2 if such a log exists. Or would that be against the modding/macroing rules? Hmmm... I'm still looking for options that don't involve murder/suicide by plunging my ship into the icelands of Hoth with the escape pods welded shut.
  7. I just tried stealthing past C2N2 as I was exiting the ship on my scoundrel. It didn't work, I was met with a loud "Master! You will be pleased to know I blah blah blah blah". So FYI stealthing past him does not work.
  8. You guys have some great ideas. I would happily pay upwards of 100,000 credits to mute the droid with a relic/customization. I would probably mind the repetition less if it was a cute female droid with a seductive voice that flirted with me every time I passed by. Though the problem with that is how to make a star wars universe droid cute....pink metal?
  9. I am starting to go crazy from this droid welcoming me home as I exit the ship, and everything else I've heard him say a million times. Is there a way to get this companion to leave your crew? Or to silence his ship enter/exit messages? Possibly a sound file with his voice clips somewhere that I can delete? A pillow I can hold over his face while he sleeps until we are both put out of my misery?
