  1. I spent a good amount of time playing Operative and did relatively well in the warzones (averaging 9-10 medals and 3-400k dmg a game), winning most of them. However, the operatives aren't the problem, it's the lack of skill with their opponents. I mean christ, I can down a geared level 50 in a matter of 5 GCD's sure, but that means that the level 50 I'm downing isn't very good at the PvP at all. Keyboard turning and, UI skill clicking and whatnot I'm sure. Operatives/Smugglers are fragile on 50 against equally geared opponents, and if I'm facing a more than decent enemy, he'll counter me badly and more often than not get away, albeit hurt. It's hard as hell to solo people on lvl 50 as a scoundrel/ops since so many people can gain ground away from us, where we have no gap closers. That said, Operative/Smuggler is the ultimate noobstomp class, since most of the less talented players will use their ccbreak on 4s ministuns etc, and it will be on constant cooldown. Now that's easy prey. And instead of stunning us the second they get up, or snaring/dotting, they'll try to just hold W and run. Needless to say, they die. If I score 60-0 in a game with 500k dmg, 58 of those kills will have been easy kills on bad players, and the remaining 2 will have been close call fights against good players.
  2. Oh don't worry, not uninstalled yet ^^ I'l lbe online and sort last things out before I uninstall it.
  3. Haha, my god I hated matchups against you, fellow backstabber ^^ You take care
  4. Yea, one can only hope Thank you for the words Pagan, I've enjoyed the fights with you too hehe ^^ And can I make an addendum to you list - Tamy and Netra. You make sure to kill them in Huttball and say Erik says hello You're not solely a PvE player if you roll on a PvE server. Can just mean that you enjoy the instanced PvP and can do fine without the ganking of the World PvP that comes with PvP servers Pvping on PvE servers is to PvP when you want to, nothing more than that.
  5. It's all "kiss and tell" with no hard figures, but seeing some people on my server who I know were just about late 40s in valor rank jump to battlemaster this morning, I'd say a good deal of people took this opportunity to get valor, and succeeded in doing so And once again, this is a thread aimed towards the small portion of the pvp community of the Red Eclipse server who have played with or against me - there's no need for you bash the thread and buff it up even more on the forumlist
  6. There are no server specific forums, there are server events and other categories in the community area of the forums at large, but no server specific ones Well, if it's reset, I'm afraid I won't come back anyways ^^ It's a good thing though, my god I really can't handle mmo's well, too much time wasted lol! Cheerios I might check in once or twice before my time's up in March.
  7. If you didn't get it from the main post, this was solely directed to the players I've encountered on the Red Eclipse server. So either you present yourself with your in-game name and say what you have to say, or you move on to bash other people
  8. Since we don't have server specific forums, I thought this would be a good place to post since it concerns the pvp folk of the Red Eclipse, EU, PvE server. My main character's Erik, some of you may recall my name from the many warzones I participated in. Some of you may hold a grudge against me for the many times I've stabbed you in the back hehe, and hopefully some of you have had fun playing with, as I have had fun playing with and against you. Due to the Ilum embarassment and how new players made it to Battlemaster in just a day, I' quitting the game. The 2 mill credits saved up went to charity to some of the imperial players, those who have received some, enjoy I just can't accept, not even as much as tolerate, this failure without a swift and good solution (with the obvious and simple solution being a rollback of the valor and some compensation, say 30ish k valor to all players?). Having no-lifed alot early january to get to Valor 58 which I am today, only to be surpassed by what others did for 1 day, was all I could take, no more joy in playing for me. Anyways, it's been fun, I hope things gets better for you who remain and keep playing Erik out.
  9. Actually, the system is too easy as it is right now - you get your gear way too fast
  10. So you claim this OP actually did his intiate, his backstab and another combo in 1.5 seconds? That's 4 GCD's right there which will take 4 seconds. If you get backstabbed by an OP you will die if you're alone, or if your teammates are too slow to stun the OP back. And if you're wandering around solo when you're appearently not very good at the game, it's your own damn fault you die to an OP ^^
  11. Economy is, as always, based on supply and demand. There is no crew skill that generates the most profit and always will do. If everybody swaps to that crew skill, it gives nobody any revenue at all. Just use the crew skills that you'll personally gain from, and sell left over supplies
  12. Easiest way to remedy it, is to come up another play-fight warzone for empire aside from Huttball. I doubt that the whole facing-the-own-faction is a problem, but Huttball is.
  13. Why even comment on this? The groundwork's there and seems to be layed out well, we'll see in a few months if Ilum is well designed or not. Do you really expect the majority of the server population to be capped and ready to grind the pvp end-game just yet? Not every player is a 16 year old without commitments during holidays and workdays, not every player has finished leveling up and enjoying the storyline.
  14. I've seen some of you folk around too ^^
